DON'T FEEL BAD IF YOU HAVE NOT GOTTEN THE RESPONSE YOU WOULD HAVE WISHED FOR. JUST THINK OF HOW MANY CHOICES THERE ARE OUT THERE, AND HOW MANY ADS THERE ARE TO GO THRU. PEOPLE EITHER GET FRUSTRATED, BORED, OR DON'T HAVE THE PATIENTS TO LOOK THRU ALL THE ADS.
I HAVE NOT FOUND ANYONE EITHER, AND DO GET FRUSTRATED THAT AS MANY MESSAGES AS I SEND, I DON'T GET BUT A FEW RESPONSES. I AM NOT WHAT THE MEN OUT THERE ARE REALLY LOOKING FOR OR IF THEY REALLY EVEN KNOW.
IF YOU CONSIDER THE ABOVE, YOU ARE USUALLY PRETTY LUCKY TO FIND ANYONE AT ALL.
I KEEP ON TRYING CAUSE I KNOW HE IS OUT THERE SOMEWHERE. I JUST HAVE TO BE PATIENT.
ANY IF YOU NEED TO TALK WITH SOMEONE, MESSAGE ME. WE MAY NOT END UP AS LOVERS, BUT MAYBE SOMETHING FAR BETTER...."FRIENDS".

Posted: 9/2/2007 5:10:57 PM | | I soooooo completely hear what you're sayin hon...same here, separated for 2 1/2 yrs but alone for far more than that. Living in a very rural area leaves few to no prospects so what choice do we have but online? And I agree with you, no way to use church and you usually aren't gonna find the type of forever guy you want in a bar. I've only been on this particular site for a few days, but was on others in the past, and the one thing that bothers me most is the fact that (for reasons beyond my control at the moment) I don't have my divorce yet ...and though there is a category for "separated" , it might as well say plague. I tried to touch on that briefly in my profile, thinking if anyone was interested enough they would ask me about it. And because I'm only separated, and have my kids nearly always, I felt it unfair to put anything other than "hang out" on my profile as to what I'm searching for, because actually none of the choices on there truly fits. I know what I want, but I also know I won't be given a chance for that until I'm divorced (if even then), so it would seem that my rural "confinement " is even more so than for most. | |
