What am I thankful for? The list is endless! Of course I am thankful for my family, friends and good health.
I am thankful that I cooked my Thanksgiving Dinner yesterday and thankful that my dinner guests so willingly accepted my gift of leftovers to take home! Now I only have enough on hand to feed only a small army.
I am especially thankful for the great organizations around our city. All I have to do is help out at the Mustard Seed .....

Thanksgiving is overrated. This is the holiday that the pilgrims came up with to celebrate the day they had the Indians over for turkey dinner and pumpkin pie so that they could get them wasted on whiskey and steal their land. No wonder they were grateful!

But seriously...I'm grateful for my amazing kids, the rest of my family(especially my Mom), my loyal dog, my loyal and amazing friends (POF&others), my health, the roof over my head, the new life I'm embarking on and most of all my ability to be grateful for all of these gifts year round.

My bro is 43, which mean's he'll be 63 when his son is 20, yikes, seems so sureal to me, espescially with mine all near flee the nest status lol..........er, definitely thankful tis him, not me facing that..........

yes, twas a beautiful weekend indeed, thankful for that

I of course, unlike embarking', did eat til I blew up lol; however, like ruckas' I avoided dishes all together so I suppose I'm thankful for that stuff too, ahhh the simple things in life are often so endearing

....if anyone has truly reflected on what they feel thankful for in general or specific,,,

I did so much reflection that I became so emotional I couldn;t attend a Thanksgiving dinner!!

As we get older there is so much more to reflect upon, both good and bad. We have to be thankful for some of the bad in our lives as it makes us more aware of what surrounds us and appreciate the little things that much more. I am thankful I have two fabulous kids with families and very thankful that I have made some friends from this site,( you know who you are).

I understand being grateful for the bad. It is often the bad that leads to real change in our lives as well as personal growth. Pain can be a great catalyst for improving the quality of our lives by motivating us to make some difficult but necessary changes.

I'm thankful for the simple fact that I can sit in front of my computer be able to read and type while food is cooking on the stove. Sunshine are beaming through the patio windows to my wooden floor, all my house plants are green and shinny. I am in a state of harmonious. Life's happiness are all about small things; I am thankful I have the ability and mentality to perceive and enjoy.
And then of course, I am so thankful that I don't live in Burma; the news there make me feel how lucky I am.

The things that I'm thankful for this year.

1. The changes that I've made in my life.
2. Having no more regrets.
3. Paying my respects to a best friend 5 years after his passing.
4. Good friends
5. Understand more things in my life.
6. Being more open minded and bracing change instead of rejecting it.

I am thankful for a certain police officer who listened to every word without bias, for my teacher who went beyond the call of duty and made it her personal mission to make sure I didn't fail, for all of my friends who listened, every time, even though there was nothing they could do to help, for my special friend in Phoenix who's wisdom, professionalism, knowledge and unyielding faith kept me hanging in there every single time I was ready to give up.

I am most thankful for my son for hanging on to who he is against insurmountable odds and coming back home, and his brother's strength and refusing to give in or give up.

You're all amazing people and I wouldn't have survived this past year without you!

So much to be thankful for...

My health, and the health of my loved ones.
My son, he totally grounds me and makes me be the best I can be - well.... most times lol
My furbabies, never cease to make me smile
My friends, old and new, all hold a special place in my heart, you all know who you are

My family, what's left of it, I treasure every moment I can spend with them

I'm sure there's more, just don't wanna be getting all sentimental and sappy on y'all...

I am thankful for turkey. Whereever and whenever I can get it. I turkey should happen more often then Thanksgiving and Christmas. I am starting a movement that every second Thursday should be Turkey Day.
