just swat the fly I am
never filled with unpleasant intention

let me rise like the phoenix
showing the
fake blonde in me
now this was a party right...
give me a good joke besides me

Been out to dinner with some old chums
Hey Y in an O is KEWL and wheres SEW?
Oh thats right, she's got kids, had to go

So Tim it looks like its just you and me
And this bikey chick is about to break free
I want to go join in the fun of outdoors
So a hug to you mate, and I'll leave you the floor

EDIT: oops correction I'll leave you and AD
Its off to the greater outdoors...for me

friends I love to play with
for they turn that buzz in me
into music I long to hear

let me serve
the desire
of food and wine
with sweet words you long to hear

hey let the kids
play all they like
on drums that thump
for even that thumping
keeps us all alive

must remember to take turns
on those drums
cause there's always more than one beat

Just popped in to say goodnight
A little to the left and a little to the right
Sprinkle moonbeams in your hair
Burn some Sweetgrass and cedar there
Dance once more around the room
And off I go on my trusty broom!

where it is "you" are coming from
I was a kid you know
listen to them
closely
hear what they have to say
cause pretty soon they will grow up
faster than yesterday

Neseemo may the broom show you a night of sweet dreams
but remember to return it to me?

Darling Sewluvlee, sew that drum into a work of art
they believe
or they old enough
to know wanting more
than a ball filled with bells

words of wisdom Tim I hold close to me
that in a few years they'll be gone from me
well one anyway
the other i think will stay
for quite awhile yet
I never forget
love, security, peace and a hug
stability, friendship and good times are snug
i'm limited in my life of what i can do
but being here for them i now how to do!

egads we had a saxophone (well 3 in fact)
and clarinets and drums and 4 different kind of guitar
not counting pianos and then there was flute and
requested next a BLUE electric violin

what a joyous noise!

that's so sweet my sewluvlee
I only wish that I could be
someone who matters to someone
the way you matter to your son.............s
life has truly
blessed me though
I feel as though i've been left righted
lovers lost are un requited
but I still know who I am inside
my path is drawn out and quite clear
I know the ones that I hold dear
and so do you it can't be clearer
just gaze into the mirror and you'll see
reflections of what my eyes
fail to see

Losing our creative edge is just like a bluntened knife
We sharpen it by writing some giggles into someone else heart

That echo we hear
Is the steel that will sharpen our own edge
That echo
Always that echo

Yet if we speak not
No echo - and so our light goes out
Our edge become blunt - so

CUT me some laughter
DICE me some giggles
SLICE me a piece of that pizza pie

CHOP me some poem
WHITTLE some words but
GOUGE not out thine own poets eye

By the powers invested in me
I now proclaim you MAN and PIZZA

ENJOY!

Yes it has been laughter and easy banter
that was missing
and tonight it shined once more
Tim-always dreaming
and enchanting rose
I feel better inside
knowing that people
like all of you do exist
in this world
the kids have it right
and so we should too
and at 2 am in the morning
rain still tumbling down
its my tranquilizer to hear it
a little hungry though
with all that pizza.
not fair when you have found slim again
and you are offered temptation.
