| The hall of poetic dialogue Posted: 10/17/2006 5:27:01 PM | I tried to write a poem tim But couldnt get it out No word with rhyme with w*nkers So I came in here to pout
My bean bag has been taken And tim has got a cold And now its salties turn to sulk She's tired and getting old
So cook us a brew dear tim? A coffee or a tea? I've come to sit with you a while AHH CHOO oh deary me
It seems I have the snuffles too Or was it just a tear Ran down my nose instead of my face It seem I leak m'dear
So whats the go in tims fine place? And how are folks today? Its nice to be with friends right now As vampires sweep and sway
|
| The hall of poetic dialogue Posted: 10/17/2006 5:38:28 PM | I've a hankering that w*anker can be rhymed without insult but you just might want to spank her for being so difficult.
But please don't sulk, Salty dear I come with hot cocoa and with tea for those with colds its good i hear at least its good for me
It's cold outside, the first snow's hit those vampires must not be pleased i was going to yoga, but don't want drive in this sh*t so now i'm at home trying not to freeze

| The hall of poetic dialogue Posted: 10/17/2006 5:51:51 PM | We've been given even harder water restrictions here Water I can wednesday friday and sunday only After 8pm and before 8am and as we watch our gardens dying They say fires are coming our way and yet we are not allowed to use water
Unless the fires strike between the hours of 8 and 8 and on designated days of course my god the worlds gone mad
|
| The hall of poetic dialogue Posted: 10/17/2006 5:58:24 PM | Poor Salty's garden is in despair not enough water to keep it there but water's a limited commodity and i must be the oddity that thinks it's worth a few forlorn yards to keep this precious resource safe guard so oft we use without a thought but drought is the least of the troubles we've wrought
Still... sorry bout your garden
|
| The hall of poetic dialogue Posted: 10/17/2006 6:07:32 PM | Despair not my salty friend just pary a little prayer and ask the Lord to bring you rain with enough to dose fires to spare.
Tell him with a smile you'll share a veggie or two after all he was a gardener back when our world was new.
oh my dear friends i am so sorry to hear you are not well its a sad story
i'll make a big pot of sweet ginger tea you can drink a cup while its hot the sweat is for free
but before you start sweating be sure you've a blanket keep your bodies warm here's a fire, we'll bank it
i brought along more bean bag chairs now we have plenty and many to share
to find a word that rhymes with wanker simply close your eyes and think of a "spanker" *giggling*
|
| The hall of poetic dialogue Posted: 10/17/2006 6:19:06 PM | Hello friends happy!
To those who have a flu lemon and tequila I will bring to you
And if you Salty are droping a tear let me kiss it so you can heal soon my dear
For fires we have our Firefighter just don't extinguish women fire for later you won't be allowed a lighter

|
| The hall of poetic dialogue Posted: 10/17/2006 6:27:39 PM | whysprs I luv you gal! Please brew up that tea And take a cup with me?
Tis the irony thats all I have a river deep and wide Across its 400 yards Long it crosses half a continent
Its full in fact is breaking its own bank And yet allowed I am not to dip a bucket in
Rules were made for all Places they DO have rainfall But out in the bush 10" we have all year And that in 3 days, for the rest just a tear is our water
This state is bigger than Texas And ranges from bone dry to wet So how they think that a rule over all Will work? Tis funny I bet
So cook up the tea blessed girlfriend And throw me old bean bag For if my garden does need it I'll water and do it so glad
The water police are just flunkies Sitting behind a desk And ruling for those in the cities Out here not a one would pass test
Our house most have NO street numbers In fact most the roads have no name So seeing that fact I guess most of us here Are truly OUTSIDE of their game
While those in the cities flush toilets And dont go outside for a pee Never thinking of how much they use it Its not how it is for me
I think I'll flush my garden instead
|
| |
| The hall of poetic dialogue Posted: 10/17/2006 6:38:25 PM | Tell me Salty is it true that your toilets flush counter clockwise? or was my baby on crack when she went down under? | |
