JUST FOR YOU
Posted: 10/18/2006 11:57:44 AM

Angelab, if you feel bad about accepting the flowers then you could just not fill in your address. Admittedly you would never know who sent them because it just says "a user" wants to send you flowers but maybe there should be an option where the recipient can fill in a simple form which says the reason why you don't want to accept the flowers?

Yeah, I didn't even think about the fact that this site doesn't have my address and I'd have to supply it. That makes me feel better about the idea. :) I agree a form saying why you'd rather not accept would be nice.

Realizing that, it was pretty tacky for the lady the guy a few posts back sent flowers to to accept them and not even say thank you. Hopefully she didn't get them after all and it's just a computer error.

I would not go through all that trouble just to get something that dies in a week. I don't want to receive them either. It's a good idea for people who are into this. Just not for me.Goodluck to you folks.

Hi! I think the sending flowers option is just totally nifty and very original! I haven't seen any other site do that. This site, by the way, is just fantastic. Thank you so much!

Great idea! What about other things? Like cologne? Like candy? Like A CD maybe, a DVD? We ALL like those things and these ARE things we singles talk about in getting to know each other....it would be cool to surprise someone with a DVD or CD that we had just talked about, or maybe they have mentioned in their profile -they are a such -- and- - such fan. No, I am not in the DVD or CD biz, just a thought that came to mind...

After reading some of this thread, maybe add a new item in the profile stats...Do you want flowers

Yes, I love flowers
No, they make me sneeze
Maybe, if you're cute
Only if I know you
Credit my Paypal directly instead

Just an idea... I promise not to bring it up again.

I just finished browse through all the flowers on the flower site. I have to say they are quite expensive compare with the price in my local stores. The delivery fee is from 11 dollars and weekend extra. So the cheapest one is $30 plus delivery fees plus tax plus exchange rate if you are in Canada, it will comes to $50 for a minimum order. In my opinion the flowers better be for one time icebreaker only, because for $50 we could spend on better gifts or just dinning out.

I visited your flower site. I think it is a great idea. Maybe you should also have some smaller items, like asingle rose or soemthing. I am certainly not a cheapo but $36 for someone you only know form POF is a bit expensive. If I know them well enough to send flowers, I would probably use a local florist.

Just a thought,
