| Can we plan a pof party in the crowsnest pass?

There is this awesome lounge called papa's lounge and we could have a speed dating kinda thing ect. there are so many single people here looking for love. I would plan it all as I work at the lounge I just need help posting it and how togo about it.

Posted: 10/26/2006 1:46:38 AM | It is a great idea...problem for me is that when I clicked on it to do it...it goes to a US website and I have pay US $s to send flowers. Not to play the devil's advocate however, last I checked we have flowers in Canada. So would be nice if WE in CANADA didn't have to pay large fees to send these flowers.
Otherwise it is a great idea and I would buy into it however, not when I am paying USDs and the same for delivery fees.

Not necessarily...
I might have restrictions on women I date, but I have no such restrictions on who I might send gifts of appreciation to. I mean, I send flowers to my mother all the time, but that doesn't mean I want to date women old enough to be my mom!
Now that I've experienced this POF w/flowers thing firsthand, I can finally contribute something to this thread...
Pros:
It does work and the price isn't really that bad. Other online flower delivery services I've used in the past, like flowerpetal.com, charge a lot more... sometimes up to twice as much for a similar arrangement.
Cons:
It took four days between the order and delivery. Other sites, like flowerpetal.com, typically delivered within a few hours of order placement... except on Valentines and Mother's day - where it could also take several days.
And Kloey knew ahead of time that she was getting them. So... if you intend on surprising someone, forget about it! | |

It does indeed work and yes, I loved 'em! They're simply gorgeous! Though I may have known they were on the way, I was not prepared for such an extravagant amount of blooms. Asiatic lilies have four to six blooms on each stem. I received ten stems, so you can imagine!
P.s.
The card was lovely, as well. I will confess that it made me smile! | |

I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your amazing site.. met my boy-friend on here a year ago and it has changed my life! Probably would not have met him otherwise and would have definately missed out on sharing my life with an amazing human being. It's very diffucult nowadays to meet people and form a relationship compared to 20 years ago or when we were "young", so once again I thank you for your time and generosity in making the site free and accessable to all!
