Pele never played in Europe though. Would like to see him play againt Euro defences every week. Shame for the 1970 world cup, but ah well. Actually Pele played in first world cup at 17 in Europe, against Euro defense. In 66' he played in England as well, against Euro defense, did well untill the Portuguese coach demanded that his purposely hurt Pele and put him out of comission. Your facts sir, are not correct. Todays players, yes are way faster, stronger and athletically inclined to beat the masters of the past. Team against team yes. but what if you put "man vs man"? Player from the past vs player of today? Just two men at it with a soccer ball? Think about it? Would your answer be the same? Peace.  | |

"Mia Hamm is the best player, ever. Male or Female. Just a joy to watch".
I totally agree. Mia could teach a lot of men soccer players a thing or two about the proper way the game should be played. What a special athlete she was. | |

football really does not have low scoring but 1 goal counts for 1!
