| PARTY AT FUNKY TOWN -DOWNTOWN MONTREAL NOVEMBER 10, 2006
Posted: 11/11/2006 1:35:05 AM | Well, it was my first POF party and what a nerve wrecking experience it was. My body was stiff and I could not move from that one spot at Funky town. I did have a good view of the dance floor...so I was able to watch people interact and dance. My heart was racing and I did not have to courage to say hi to some of the attractive women on the scene. I just stood there having my drink when suddenly a beautiful and caring voice said to me : you are just going to stand there? You can't meet people if you don't talk them first. We only spoke for no more than a minuit before she was wisked away with her friends. I was touched that person's encouragement. I don't know who she is but she certainly touched my heart. I will never forget her soft voice with those kind words...so shortly after...I moved my butt to the other side of the bar and interacted with two sweethearts. I had a fantastic time talking with them. It was easy once the ice was broken. Thank you for such an event. I did show up there late ... two reasons : 1) finished work at 5pm and 2) shower and supper 1 1/2hr. So by the time I arrived...it was almost 9pm. It is hard to be at these events any earlier. But...nevertheless...I had a great time talking with new friends....Thank you!

Thanks for the fabulous party!!! I think it may actually have been the best POF party I had been to yet! It was awesome!!! And to think I almost didn't go to this party....just goes to show what you might miss out on...Hey Vanessa, I was sad to miss you...people were asking me where you were...hope to see you soon at another POF gathering. :)
I had so much fun hanging out with some good friends...meeting great new people...even running into people I know off of POF....just goes to show you never know what can happen at a POF party....and I got to BOOOOOOOGIE!!!! Woooohoooooooo! Wowsers did I need that....it had been wayyyyyyy too long since I got to boogie on down and Funkytown was the place to get funnnnnkeeeeee that's for sure!
Hey what do you know? I even finally got to meet Vitotheman! Hey Vito maybe we'll see you more often downtown now that you know that we don't bite....well, unless someone asks us very nicely to! 
Well it sure was a night of HAPPY TIMES (as Borat would say)!!!
