Dry stagnation
an artist’s dearth
floating down images of a river
in the currents of a timeless chasm
words, empty harbingers of barren land
swept clean by the brush of fate
anointed by life
still sleeping.

Hidden by buldging clouds
sunlight doesn't shine
Meager reach of sunlight
Chases creatures outwardbown

Extended wings
Mouth , lips
Exorcism has the hips
Wanna be the last one

missed!

Goatheads clothes
Vineager breath
candles lit up on their chest
Please fly...

Dis my nest!

...apologies that time has flown but good tidings always wished for you J (naw)

The crafty venom of vocabulary
Cannot disguise the sixth sagacity
Too keep mum would be foolish
Irrational state sporadically

As you twist and howl
…they stole my words
And you turn yellow

Thankfully full moon gives the colour
To read the gags incognito
A golden needle for my mind
Once a month it’s pure pleasure

Brizo.... very insightful. I kept rereading it. I truly did.

Autumn.... the words therein went str8 to my mind. I think I've been there time and again.

MMMMMY.... very abstract. I'm still rereading it.

Always Dreaming.... this poem too has me thinking. Has me searching.

But I love to think, everyone. Each one of you truly bestow upon the page depth and artistic beauty.

NM i just wanted to thank you for this most exquistite forum so full of thought provoking pieces. I dig style, RIGHT ON, WRITE ON! So here is my two cents worth -
"a penny for your thoughts or a dollar for your desires" - unknwn

Bedlam Mary Goes to the Zoo Without Leaving Her Room

Marble tigers lose their eyes…
…..
…..
They go rolling down a Darwinian Staircase
Being chased by grown children who trip over their briefcases
unable to tie a Windsor knot,
in need of 13 slipknots.
Estranged Buffalo neigh and winnie at eeyores and eyesores.
Mischievous Minotaurs huff, lost within their own Labrynth of faulty design.
While poop flingin monkeys scratch their ass & type tomorrow’s’ Headlines.
Demented Giraffes strain their necks to see Fire in the Horizon.
Vanquished Vultures of Opportunity circle above the wizened.
No longer a Keeper at the Gate, He was staked to a Tree.
We Beasts now run blind and free.
Gluttonous Cows gorge till they burst on processed feed
And Ruffled Peacocks gag and purge till they cant see
beyond their own beauty or vulgarity.
What a strange zoo we are
in our asinine regime of pecuniary.

She is more than art*

Aesthetic par excellence she is;
a glimpse of the unseen, an
aphrodisiac in presence.

Pressure!—
the breaking of the phallic shrine—

how oft and ‘gain doth the womb
convulse! The gods and goddesses
knot through us. How else doth
one validate such force!

She is more than art… She is…

the angst of the Nazirite,
the ambrosia-nectar of man’s addiction,
more vital than nirvana, the poetry
of Odin, the reason’d fall of the Archangel
and for her gifts I perish wit pride….

WOW Naive & Witty your way with words never ceases to astound me? I am assuming you have been published other than sporadically, i mean a compilation? If so please do tell where one might acquire a copy. Kudos!

Half in Exile pt I “The Dead Are Laughing At Us…”

Apes shit glitter and ladybugs on the phosphorescent bulb of life.
Mildew garnished spectacles give sight of war torn back alleys
filled with hoboes, pot pies, horse flies,
and vomiting clowns drunk on rat stew & ancient barbiturates of never never land.
Hospital beds of Belgium Bedlams made neatly, nightly.
Sheets of semen stained Dietal Corrosion cover the refuted
Sanctuaries for the solaceess on a Forgotten Solstice.
“The dead are laughing at us…”
Fools live to die in collaborating religion,
the truly saved have life Void of Dogma and in touch with Spirit.
Excremental pieces of existence, time tabled and self bound
by endless monetary pursuit.
“The dead are laughing at us…”
Skeletons juggle flaming apples in the high court of blame & patriarchy;
And the Red Queen is truly off her head.
Bobbles & Trinkets. Gold from lead.
May the Circle be broken, and the Squares turned to Triangles,
With the points softened and rounded of course.
Softened like the bulbous backs of jelly fish w/ its stinging tentacles
Draped oer the open eyes of beaurocracy & customs.
But a triangle hath no appendages you say, tis ok
for beaurocracy has no vision.
“The dead are laughing at us….”
Pilgrims fled across the ocean (half in exile)
in the name of religious freedom,
only to sew their own seeds of intolerance & narrow mindedness.
Like blind aquaphobic rats scurrying from a sinking ship
only to gnaw holes in the escape raft.
For a roach will refute a fresh hot plate
to feast on yesterday’s rubbish.
They say that in a holocaust, only****oaches
(and maybe Kieth Richards)
would survive,
If only the roaches had ‘Sympathy for the Devil”.
“The dead are laughing at us…”

The lunar eclipse the planets align
Lost is the light in a moment’s time
Tracing the edge as if to consume
The gentle light reflecting the moon

Lost in the universe amongst the stars
Hiding in shadows maybe on mars
Finding its way back out of the night
To illuminate the moon in brilliant light

This is a passage so frequent in time
It only happens when planets align
And when the moon is full in its bloom
With the sun shining and earth to consume

So take each opportunity to look up and gaze
At the wonderment of this delicate phase
Consume the beauty and lock it away
And take it with you for a rainy day

City of god*

At first—
blank was the portrait!—and
out of nothing came genesis.
But we learned to inhale
despite the rage’n forest.

Everso near the break’n flood,
and you can only scar a dream,
it will soon become the manifest
vision.

But I am but a child;
laden wit realities myth;
pray’n beneath the crumbl’n
concrete. And I ask:

Why does god melt the sky?

we are spirit-consciousness-of-sensory-receptors,
emitting and emanating from our one Being
the same spirit-consciousness-of-sensory-receptors
in which we are, are becoming, and are receiving.

what is your reality?

Reality
seems awoken
from dreams
stiff
congruent
bursting
at seams
edges
coming
together
within
its
distinct
dream
after all
reality
is
coming
together
somehow
in deep
dark
reflections
of want
hope
endless
wishing
always
less
but
nonetheless
reality!

Multi coloured rainbow waves
pulsing in particulate
I swim through the cosmos
effect, affect, affectionate
exploding into song
that ripples into eternity
where time is timeless
and place
is now.

reality lies in dreams woven
spun upon a web of consciousness
enveloping a liquid pool of tears
lifting the soul to out shine by far
the sun the moon and the stars

Dreams delve
in extreme emotion
dance like angels
sing like fools
entrance like love
demons fools

Contrive to
believe
steadfast
do not weep
for love
is neverending

Your soul
is not regressing
just your
heart
making hope
where love eloped!

love never dies
true love in heart resides
the gift is set free
if one allows it to be
souls never regress
they just grow test after test

Where would I be
If I didn't know you?
Where would I be?
life is sick
times are thick
black
ripped
like a video
doesn't play
What if I didn't know
you?
what would I remember?
who would I run to?
like chocolate
I want you so
yet I stay away
more of me
remembers
you!
Who would I be?
without your words
our kiss?
my god...
I am lost
now
more than ever
like a train
destination
where ever
What would I do
without
memories
of you?
if I never loved you
where
would
I
be?
Recognize
blessings
even
when
they
left!
Amazing
memories
seems
still
our
nights
sleep
our
tights
kiss
our
hearts
even
in the
dark!
