| For guys who want to have children
Posted: 10/18/2006 9:04:22 PM | For me, I admit some day I want kids. Understanding the situation of not being able to have kids is difficult at best. My ex girlfriend has a son of her own. She said the first put her on bed rest for so long she wouldnt go thru it again for noone. I was willing to accept her child and pass on having children of my own to have them both in my life. To me its just something about having that little person who depends on me and my abilities to bring him or her up right. I think thats something our parents instill in us as we are growing up. Its also very heartfelt when that lil person is so excited to see you and the arms go up so you can pick them up.
I am sorry you have to deal with someone who cant put his feelings aside for the one he loves. I have kinda been there and I do understand there is a choice to make. However hurting someone in a way he has is not the way to work thru this. I agree adoption is something to look at. We had discussed that as well and found it acceptable. | |
