Posted: 8/19/2008 7:27:08 AM | I've traveled all over ASIA as a military brat & when I came to California I thought that there would be a great sigh of relief as I would settle down with a real woman...
I've know about 25 different families that were very well off - having over 10+ millions in properties & holdings etc... & about 20 of these families the wives cheated on the husbands after the 2nd or 3rd child.... WITH a stupid punk - like an person who gives lessons: Piano, Tennis, American style Karate, etc... & these women eventually divorced the husbands & eventually got cheated on by the very punks they left their husbands with or for ... The other 5 guys were KNOWN cheaters prior to marriage & they just wouldn't change...
None of the women had to work & they usually said the same thing... I need to be happy too...
(HUH? taking a vacation 2 or 3 times a year - buying stuff for parties all the time - always thinking your right all the time - Doesn't make you happy?)

The Husband Store
A brand new store has just opened in New York City that sells Husbands. When women go to choose a husband, they have to follow the instructions at the entrance:
"You may visit this store ONLY ONCE! There are 6 floors and the value of the products increase as you ascend the flights. You may choose any item from a particular floor or may choose to go up to the next floor, but you CANNOT go back down except to exit the building!"
So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband.
The 1st floor sign reads: Floor 1 - These men have jobs.
The 2nd floor sign reads: Floor 2 - These men Have Jobs and Love Kids.
The 3rd floor sign reads: Floor 3 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids and are extremely good looking.
"Wow," she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going.
She goes to the 4th floor and The sign reads: Floor 4 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Good Looking and Help with Housework.
"Oh, mercy me!" she exclaims, "I can hardly stand it!" Still, she goes to the 5th floor and The sign reads: Floor 5 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Gorgeous, help with Housework and Have A Strong Romantic Streak.
She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the 6th floor and the sign reads:
Floor 6 - You are visitor 31,456,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please. Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store.
To avoid gender bias charges, the store's owner opens a New Wives store just across the street.
The 1st floor has wives who love sex.
The 2nd floor has wives who love sex and have money.
The 3rd through 6th floors have never been visited.

I don't think grazing on McDonalds burgers makes one a better person - a bigger person maybe, and perhaps a shorter-lived person too, but not a more selfless person.
It doesn't matter whether you're talking about women OR men, there are selfish people everywhere (or at least in the 12 countries I've known). Instead of whining about the people I don't like, I'd rather just hang out with people I do like. There are also good people everywhere.
Now if you'll excuse me, I think I'll order lunch and chat with the nice people at that Japanese restaurant down the street now.
PS - Don't forget, California is mostly populated with people from other places.

The more people there are, the thicker everyone's shell becomes so they seem stuck up, when all they're really doing is trying to protect themselves from getting hurt or embarrassed...
...And, the more people there are, the higher the chance is that you'll come across the stereotypical people.
My bro told me something a long time ago and it's true... No matter how "cool" or perfect someone appears to be, deep down inside, they're all just scared little children. We all are.
Small towns aren't like this... even small towns in California are friendlier than anywhere in OC or LA. | |

If you ever leave campus you'll find that California women even the so called snobby ones have good hearts. I was born and raised in the Sacramento area and am NOTHING like this nor are 80%of the women I know and you are all over looking a MAJOR factor to the snobbiness in Cali...

Think about it. All the girls that want to hit it big, marry rich, become models/actresses/singers, etc. they all MOVE to California, specifically Southern California.
Its not us born and raised "California girls" that are the snobby, gold-digging twats, its these other girls that move here.
AND LETS NOT FORGET ABOUT THE GUYS!!! You boys are 10x worse than any of us will ever be! You complain and complain about the b!tches in Cali yet you lust after them like dogs that need to be neutered. Maybe if you changed the ways you guys act it would influence those girls to change as well.
Take this from a former airline employee that has traveled to almost every single state, California is not the only state like this. In fact there was more gold-digging in other states. Women in California for the most part tend to be smart and successful already, they dont need a man for that. As for the snobbiness, go look in Houston, New York, Miami, Seattle, etc...those places were filled with snotties. | |

I feel I must respond as I was a person who moved here...rather my parents did when I was younger. I was born in Texas. Raised in California with school in MO. I feel I chose the best things memories, places the things I liked the best.that those states represented and applied them to my personality. The thing about California is its a melting pot. Lots of different types represented. You get what you choose to get. I would also venture to guess some might not want to change.

It just may have something to do with the fact that there are more Mercedes and BMW dealerships, top dollar boutiques and breast augmentation and plastic surgeons per square mile in LA county (and immediate environs) than anywhere else on earth. Women (and men for that matter) get diametrically more "normal" (i.e., less shallow and self-absorbed) the further you get from LA. As to whether that is something that is based on whether you were born in California or moved here later, it's a moot point. Those who buy into that shallow LA lifestyle will do so whereever they were born. Just some thoughts, from a guy living far away from LA and a lifetime away from that materialistic, shallow lifestyle. | |

If your a gold-digger you may find yourself with a guy who treats you like a thing. (You might later find yourself sleeping with the pool boy or the tennis instructor. )This is fine if you and he agree on this. You choose your lifestyle. As does he...who probably has his proverbial red sportscar in the driveway a younger wife/mistress or both or divorced from first wife and marries mistress..we all know that one...so in this scenario you get what you get and you don't throw a fit.
Like the man said..in all cities, countries, villages, towns one can always find the village idiot or the gold digging gamine..or the usually older man who thinks he is able to buy people..and to some degree he is right..they just need to find each other. Wherever they live.

Money comes and goes. You don't take it with you. It isn't the defining picture. Who you are and who you chose to be is the only real thing. Did you support a charity? Give to kids? or were you buying weak minded people?
As to gold probably better right now then money. | |
