You seem to have EVERYTHING going for you in finding love, but one thing will make it harder for the time-being. I would guess that the vast majority of women in their twenties either do not know yet whether they want children, or do know that they do want children eventually. You are right to be so upfront and honest about this in your profile, but I think finding your true love will be a lot more difficult simply because most young women have not made that decision yet, but probably still want to keep their options open. Hey, you might even want to start a California post about that subject. Or some young California woman may want to start a post about it. California has wonderful women! In both the north and the south!! | |

What happens for a widget when supply is low and demand is high? The price goes up.
What area in the United States has THE MOST single men for single women? Los Angeles.
So draw out the supply demand chart... the widget is single women in LA. The supply is low and the demand is high, more so than any where else in the country.
Economically speaking, it is no surprise that the price is high for a scarce, in demand widget.

Is it just me, or are we having the same debate over and over again in every other thread, always generalizing people and putting them into a safe little box that you can then point your finger at and say "it's THEIR fault"?
Californians (women and men, north and south) are by and large, the friendliest, most approachable people on this whole planet. We talk to each other- in line at the DMV, the grocery store, in elevators. Now you know that someone from Kansas (interloper) is going to pipe up and say well we talk to everybody! But c'mon, they KNOW everybody. Shoot, there's only, like, fourteen of them in the whole town! And it has been my experience that the friendly little mid-western town is absolutely NOT friendly to strangers. But here in California, we are all strangers, and yet we talk to each other.
This is something I am inordinately proud of, but we started out with a wide stroke painting all Cali women as superficial golddiggers, and then the stellar quality of this discussion evolved into well the northern girls are alright, it's those southren gals, and now we have risen to the pinnacle...Yes, please. Let's decide right here and now who are the biggest b itches- Whittier girls like to party and Irvine girls are fun, but those Newport girls...

At the head of the line I looked back at the 100 people who endured the maze with me and said,"I suppose you are all wondering why I called you here." The only person who laughed was the lady I was with!
