50 ways to leave your lover...

I had a sobbing mate on the phone one night - he came home to find his house stripped of almost everything all furniture gone and he was left with the house. His wife left 1 knife, 1 fork, 1 spoon, 1 glass, 1 cup, 1 plate, 1 chair, small table, 1 plastic rubbish bag, the dining table was stone so could not be removed, 1 pillow, 1 towel and 30 cents.

He asked me if I knew what she was meaning and I said yes - she is gone now and has left you with the house (he could not afford) and take all her furniture. He then asked if the 30 cents was to call her and I said no I think it was to call someone who cares. He had to outfit the whole house as every bit of furniture was gone and divorce papers were sent in the mail a week later.

I don't think I have ever broken up with a girl in a bad way .............. but fighting by text msgs is not fun as somewhere you are always out of synch so when you calm down a msg comes through that is always older and starts the arguements.

^^^ ^I guess it depends on what had happened as to wether or not I would feel sorry for the guy. I left my ex and took most of the furniture as most of it was mine that I had before I met him. This man was very abusive through out the relationship and I felt that the revloting brut deserved nothing off me and so I took what was rightfully mine.

Marley he deserved it as whilst we had our own careers, we also studied and moonlighted on the side for extra cash. I knew to take Sundays off - he did not and of course she paid for the furniture in the house and took what she owned. She did pour her heart out to me - got married and had a family - something he did not want to do.

Greed got in his way ............ and the grass is always greener in the next paddock. Always jealous of me but I worked 7 days a week usually and this created a wall between us as he was looking for the easy way - a nice wealthy woman from the same country as his family whom he could set his life up with. He got it and I don't know if they are married still.

As for me - my ex used to shut me out of her life - as if she only shared part of it with me and I used to chase after her if she went quiet on me. One day I did not bother to chase her as I was sick of the games .............. end of chapter.
