I exclusively date older women. Not only older women, but older plus size women. Why? God made me this way, ask him. Anyway, I've tried online dating to meet older women. And what do I hear? You're sweet. You're handsome. But I want someone closer to my age. If anything is outside the box, its love. And once people start to understand that, soulmates may never meet.

So is 45 too old? No, but life is risk, and you have to be willing to take a risk in order to live.

Oh no. I completely disagree. I've had relationships with women your age and I'm 27. I very much enjoy being with older women.

No way is 45 to old !! Heck I'm 51 and still feel very sexual, sensual and passionate. Sure the young girls look nice but I like a attractive looking woman between the ages of 45 & 63 who still have a high sex drive like myself. I still love sex, foreplay, teasing and pleasing and love doing oral on a woman.

Baby,

it has been written that females are in thier prime at 40...I truely believe that..So much comes with wisdom and age. I feel the same way oddly enough....Age is just a number and as far as Im concerned should not be in a profile..I have meet many who did not act there age..more like kids...

If you say your hot...your hot baby...Understand only a few want to settle down...there in lies the delima...some say they want to but I question the motive..

Its ok...promise...no answers...only encouragement...because a real man will accept that..what matters is you as a person..

I shouldn't have read this while I'm so close to my 45th birthday, because frankly I never even thought about it UNTIL NOW !

But, I beg to differ on the "most men want younger women" comment. That's simply not true. There's lot's of real men out there that appreciate wisdom and experience in a woman who has lived it and learned it, I wouldn't trade my life experiences, to be young again..EVER !

I gave half of my life to the service of others. I loved raising a daughter and was a good, loving and devoted wife, a hard working employee, dedicated sister and the best friend you could ever ask for. I learned from each aspect of service as well. Those life experiences are what counts in life. The difference you make in the lives of others is so rewarding, and can NEVER be accomplished young. If you think at 25 you've accomplished it, then you did a halfa$$ job and ya need a do-over.

I say, forty five...is such a cute age.

Not, You ladies are in your prime. I love you all, just loosen up a little and don't be so cautious with your heart. Surrender, but Dont Give your hearts away. Most of the ladies I met in the 42 to 55 yr range have thier kids raised and are still in good shape. Live a little go have fun. Life didn't begin for me till 40 It took that long to grow up!

I'm hitting the 45 soon and in the meantime wondering what will happen when I get there? I'm new to the single life after being married forever and am still finding my way around who I am. Trying to fit someone else in my life at this point is a challenge, but one I'm giving a go at. I'd like to find out who I am as a woman in a man's life at this time of my life, as well as continuing to figure out who and what I am and want as a woman. Always being married, well, I saw myself in a totally different way. Knowing that I am getting older goes through my mind when I am out with friends and see all the guys looking elsewhere towards the younger women. I feel the questions going through my mind and wonder what I need to do to not even care. It is important to me that I learn to accept that and not take it as a question about myself - my age, my glasses, my whatever. I'm not looking for that "one" guy yet, but hope he's out there somewhere in my future. So, this really shouldn't be something that bothers me as much as it does. Keeping a postive attitude towards this all is, well--big sigh.....

I agree moon. I am 50 myself, and as the old saying goes "You are only as old as the one you feel" or something like that. I find that I have much more energy today than I did when I was younger. My sense of adventure is still there, and if given the chance I can party til the sun comes up and goes down again. Yeah, uh......what was I talking about?

Don't do that! Don't give up; and don't throw your computer away. We all shoot for the moon. Every women wants Elvis; every man wants Paris.
But we all know its not going to happen. It's when we let go of those expectations; and let ourselves get to know someone else' thats when you'll find the one for you.
And for those who thing just the young ones look beautiful, there wrong. I've seen beautiful women that looked 40 when in fact they are in their 60's.
On Oprah, the other day, she was talking to Jennifer Anniston and other Female Director's when this lady made a comment. "Women today are so bussy , they do not catch the clues that someone is interested in them. And do not even notice that a guy just made a pass at them.
We all have to be more observant. patience e..v..e..n makes the heart fonder. PS I meet a lady that took the initative the otherday, which was fine with me. Sometimes you have to seek out what you want instead of waiting for it to find you.

Actually, that isn't true. I'm 42 and I get asked out all the time by younger guys who say THEY PREFER older women because of the fact we are more mature, experienced and know what we want. Younger guys out there..am I right or am I right??

It depends on what you are looking for Gwen. I will be 40 soon, and I find that some men won't talk to me simply for that fact. Nevermind that the husband that I am divorcing right now is 23! Our divorce has nothing to do with his age, but rather his inability to overcome addiction.
I look at it this way, if someone cannot accept me for who I am, then they do not deserve the pleasure of getting to know me. I look in the mirror now, and see a couple of wrinkles forming here and there, see a couple of pounds that I want to loose, feel myself getting older. I'm not looking forward to being single because I am afraid of the rejection that I might find from men. But then I got on this site, and I've met so many nice people. Don't be afraid to email a man and tell him he's cute, you like his profile, etc.
There is someone out there for everyone, just be patient and be yourself!

I`m 49 and still rocking, and not in a chair, I dance, golf, fish, and now know that like wine, we just get so much better. My only curse is I now have to be responsable for my actions, as where the younger crowd can say I did`nt know you could`nt do that. At 49 you`ve done it and know you can`t do it again. Or can you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! out all
