his choice in women suck, that doesn't mean he should try eventually (like years down the road, jeesh he's only 26) settle with a sane and non-conniving chick.
But I could be wrong, you could be the trouble and not your choice of chicks you "breed" with. but that's where the obedience classes come in handy.

Not one bit of child support from him. Another one of his promises that he would give me money. Well, my son is now 31, and I am glad I didn't hold my breath to get any money because I would be dead by now.
Why would you be dead?
The child support (if received) was for your SON not YOU.
Your son would be the one suffering not you, your ex's money wasn't to support you.
That is how us women get bad names about child custody and support.  | |

Posted: 11/17/2006 3:58:48 PM | In addition to Mylittleredtruck's answer.. that was about the most sane answer I've heard here. I think that sanity runs thin on both sides of the genders... especially when it comes to the care and life of their children. It's evident here...
Saying that a woman who wants to keep and care for her babies is insane.. is just insanity!
I know more dead beat fathers then I know good caring ones. Most don't have any tact to be able to sooth things over with the ex.. and only make things worse. I know a few dead beat mothers too.. what a shame. It's not about you it's about the children.
If the OP truly loved his children he would be giving support and help to the mother of his children. Self pity in anger is insanity! It doesn't get you anywhere! This goes both ways too.. a woman who wants to give up her children to her ex should have the same obligations to her children and her ex. Demeaning each other in front of these children is insanity!

Posted: 1/4/2007 7:42:21 AM | First of all, most of you replying missed the sentence where he stated he was getting a vasectomy. He's got that part, okay? Second of all, there needs to be a little compassion here.
Here we have a man who actually WANTS to care for the children he created. So many of them have children and then forget about them. I commend this man for that and I am so sorry that the mothers of these children cannot see how fortunate they are to have a father who wants an active role in the lives of his children.
THAT being said: WHY are you being denied the right to visitation with your children? Unless something is exceedingly wrong here, you cannot be denied that right. If these women are arbitrarily denying you your right to visitation, you can file with the court. Chances are, they are in contempt of court for not allowing you your visitation. Read your divorce papers. Then very calmly contact your childrens' mothers and let them know that if they do not allow you the rights stated in the divorce decree, you will file appropriate charges with the court.
Second of all, please PLEASE get yourself some counseling. There is not a damn thing wrong with having some objective help with problem solving. Your heart and your spirit are broken. Get help with the healing process. This will help you to perhaps not make the same mistakes in your relationship choices and allow you to begin to LIVE. I've been there, done that and was so very glad that I did. If I felt the need, I would do it again. Good luck to you, ISBRO | |

Posted: 6/15/2008 8:55:30 AM | Id say Cowboy up and be a man. Its about the kids now. Even if your behind on child support you have the right to see the kids. Two wrongs don't make a right. The kids are the ones that will pay in the long run. My question to you is, was it court ordered that you not have contact with the childern? If not Id start filling motions with the court. Altho its not wise in some cases you can file motions yourself without a mouth peace. Let the judge decide. I would advise you to be perpared for battle$$$... Good luck.
