I'm really looking forward to it. I hope we can figure out how to run the sound system properly. It should prove interesting.

Laurene, I just wrote you an email, then Angel reminded me to sign up so I got most answers. Still need to know if there are motels close to where the party is in case we don't want to drive back after drinkin'. My head count for now is 3.
I was going to ride up with Kathy, but if my daughter doesn't have the baby before Sat., I'll need to be able to leave if I get a phone call. The Doc. said she probably will deliver before her due date (Sat.). I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited. It's her first.
Kathy, we can meet in North Ft. Myers and do a caravan, if you like????? Safety in numbers. Are your daughter and her back up singers coming? They were a sweet bunch of girls.
Laurene, Lets see if Rocky is as much fun dancing as he is at singing. I asked him the next morning after the Ft. Myers Party how much money he made. "Oh, Myyyy GoD, I forgot" he said in his New York Drawl. My friend asked if he got down to a "G-string" before the girls started slippin' him dollar bills. It was funny. He's so quiet and shy when he's sober.
I'll keep making connections, and get more people coming. I've gotta get the sewing machines humming,

It was a great weekend all around for me. Went to the Sarasota Party on Sunday night and had a great time there also. I wish you were there you would have fit right in. Started a conga line around the pool area. If the weather was warmer I would have been in the pool by the end of the evening also. LOL

I hope your daughter has a beautiful healthy baby and I know you will be a hell of a grandma.
So grandma, you ready to start another chorus line this Sat. LOL

I'm bringin' this cute guy that's workin' on my computer. He and Rocky have gotten to be friends. He's just as much fun. You'll enjoy dancing with him. He's easy on the eyes.
Chazz, is having a birthday I think it is on Sat. I got mixed up and told Kathy it was last Sat.
We will have to make sure he gets lots of huggs and Kisses.
i BELIEVE IT'S KATHY'S BIRTHDAY TODAY EVERYONE!!!!!! WE LOVE YOU GIRL, A BIG ROUND OF HUGGS AND KISSES WILL BE WAITING FOR YOU TOO.

Do you know if there is anyplace in Northport/Port Charlotte area for me to go in and change/cleanup for the party? I wanted to go play discgolf Saturday afternoon at North Charlotte Regional Park but don't want to do it if there is no place for me to go & clean up afterwords. Anybody have any suggestions?
For all those people who are staying overnight in motels in NorthPort/Port Charlotte, there is a jazz concert with 2 nationally-recognized groups on Sunday Nov. 5th from 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM in Lakewood Ranch--about a 30 to 45 minute drive from NorthPort. If anybody is interested in attending this concert, email me & I will give you the concert information.

You will see that you will feel comfortable right away at one of these parties. As a matter of fact last weekend was Kimmie's first party and she let loose.
I went to the Sarasota party on Sunday and met many new people there who are comming to this party, just to mention a few Pink Flamingo, Wade, Downtown Mike, sirblade and many more whom that was their first party.
Once you meet me you will realize that I have a way of bringing people together and making them feel like they've known each other for a long time.
One of the good things about comming early to the dinner or just for drinks is that you have the quiet time to chat and get to know each other without the load music. This way by the time the music starts you already feel comfortable at least knowing a group of people.
So welcome KingFish, you are now an official POF party guy.

I can see how you would think that, but what you are seeing is we are the only ones that write in on here. I went to my first party last friday night. I brought a guy I went out on one date with and we decided to be friends instead of dating. He met a girl who had been talking on line to another guy that came to the party, to meet the second guy face to face. I called him to see if he wanted to come to this party and he said "no, he had a date with the girl he met last friday at the first party. I also brought my roommate, it was his first party. This weekend I am bringing two other guys I met on other sights.
Try it out before you decide, it's not being handled correctly.

I met Vetmanager at a party about a month ago, Kim last weekend at the party I hosted. There were about 45 people there and I tried to make everyone feel welcome. This is definitely not a clique. We are outgoing people and happen to be the ones who post on here. Have you seen many other people on here actually setting up parties? I think Vetmanager will agree with me that we have both had nothing but positive feedback from everyone that they were made to feel welcome and they had a great time when we hosted.
If you prefer a certain kind of music, dancing, place, whatever, it would be great for you to pick a place, a date and set one up. All you have to do is start a post with the details and then email BigFish, give him the title of your thread and he will set up that post as a party where people can sign up. Try it and see what kind of feedback you get...you just might make some new friends! | |

My new grandbaby is giving"Nana" a fit. I had hoped we would have been sitting in a waiting room by now, waiting for their arrival. My daughtter won't let them tell her if it is a boy or a girl, so it is still "My Grandbaby".

It gives us a place to go where you know the people there are your age and you feel comfortable.
And of course you're really killing us now Kingfisher, not only are you handsome, you're Italian too. Look out boy, the women are going to be drooling over you. LOL
I see the group is growing and it looks like a great bunch. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and chatting with you.

So I'd say let's meet about 6:00. It will be easier to meet on the backside of the Shell Factory, by Old (Business) 41, right in front of the Subway shop. If you are coming from 41, just turn into the Shell Factory, come thru the parking lot and around to the other side. I think we should have anyone caravan-ing to meet around 5:45, so we can leave by 6:00. I'll get a list of cell phone #, so anyone who is not there by 6:00 can be contacted. Will you be going up 41, or going out to I-75, to head north. I'll try to pin people down tonight, for a yea-or-nay.
Laurene, I have also invited some guys that I have talked to on line, but never met, that live north of me here, told them about the party. I've told them to check out "Plenty of Fish"
I think this group trys harder than anyother dating service to get people together ingroups to meet. First dates are difficult for alot of people, and I have many guys I have gone on first dates with whio have remained my friends. Teh guy that gave Rocky and I a ride last week was one of them and He met a girl at the party.
I'll write again later this evening, when I have more to report.

I think 6 is early enough to meet because it really only takes about 45 min. to get there and it doesn't start til 7:00. The best way to go is up to Tucker's Grade and pick up I75. It saves all the lights. Let me know the results of your "recruitment project", LOL. Kath | |
