Posted: 6/25/2007 4:59:52 AM | 1 night I was coming home from work with a friend and we stopped to get something to eat at a service station. Parking at the side we were right in front of the side door which is closed after hours so people use the main entrance. With a big sign posted on the glass that said: DOOR CLOSED AFTER 8.00 PM - USE FRONT DOOR. Eatting dinner in my car it was not long before someone walked to the door - stepped back - walk forward - stepped back - walked forward - stepped back then read the sign. We were laughing our guts out when this happened another 20 - 30 for the hour we parked there.
Years ago I did some p/t work for a photography studio who asked me to film a wedding service for them - collect $500.00 from groom and hand over tape to Parents. So arriving early at the church (Garrison Church at the Rocks) I see a wedding ending as I grab some outside shots for my couple who must be due soon. Filmed guests, bridal party and bride's arrival - so now inside I film the bridal party entrance and almost dropped my camera when the Reverand said 2 different names to what my couple were called.
I was filming the wrong bloody wedding !!!!!! This wedding was running 1 hour late so I thought I may as well continue and outside I approached the Bride's father and told him what had happened and then we had the whole bridal party laughing at what happened - before the best man and groomsmen gave me $250.00 for the tape. I quickly slipped in a spare tape and swapped over battery packs and then asked the next group of guests which wedding they were attending (I only had 1 spare tape left) and 4 spare batteries so would have been pushing it to do a 3rd wedding.
But I won't tell you about the wedding photographer who met me at a church - only to realise she had gone to the wrong church a week ahead of a wedding and she was late for someone's wedding ? | |
