purring just right so I'm loved that much more
passing the puck so others will score
changing the beat so we don't start to bore
its getting cold outside so you should close the door

besides the neighbours might see too much
with all this purring for the loving touch
the rhythm, scoring with beat change and such
in some ways really is just another crutch

in some ways really is just another crutch
Great. that all I need! As if the the money,
the food, wine, and beer weren't too much
All I need is another crutch,

Sure I have people, cats and hords of stuff
an excuse to get me thru life and such
Thats why I have these crutches
Does anybody know how life's the toughest

Does anybody know how life's the toughest
Being bothered by the little things is blessed
Spent 4hrs clearing Trojan Horse from computer
Couldn't do anything but clean my messy house

Shined and polished everything but the pewter
Just want to doze but can't catch a zzzzzzz
The cat chases the tail of a hyper mouse
And I fear the sun will be rising shortly

And I fear the sun will be rising shortly
To greet me on this new day
Casting me in shadows of my physical self
Reminding me to keep the dust off the shelf

time to make another band of wicks
for my candlemaking project
to fill my many candlesticks

some are made of silver, some of brass
some are made of porcelain
but most are made of glass

for on a dark autumn night
it's candlelight that eases my fright

it's candlelight that eases my fright
slacking in my PJ's that arent too tight
playing 'shoots and ladders' on friday night
climbing to new hieghts and then losing and crashing

little ponies on saturday in houses of logs
play in the treehouse, avoiding the zogs
we must save the leperchaun, he is lost in the bogs
without'em theres no gold at the rainbow

without 'em there's no gold in the rainbow
at least when seen from down below
for the other colours seem to mostly show
as they dance and sparkle their beautiful glow

when the sun shines through the rain
rainbow season returns again and again
though here you rarely see their beautiful colour band
nothing like they show in England

nothing like they show in England
seen mostly leprechuns in greenland
but rainbows come wherever grace
has shown it's pretty face

beautiful how all the colors blend,
who knows where rainbows
red, yellow, purple, green
prettiest thing I've ever seen

prettiest thing I've ever seen
her eyes on two drops of milk
as if they were the only stars
in her constellation...
her mouth open for a dream
to wash the hunger from her day
and set her fears aside to die
in love's confirmation

until the last moment stopped abruptly on track
we slid all the way down the hill in back
the clock never did strike the hour in that cold
silver, sparkling, glassine November day we played

snowflakes fell and danced upon our rainbow splayed
matching mitten pairs knitted midsummer with mom charms
strings slid imperceptibly inside fat sweating snowsuit arms
cheeks flushed, lips chaffed, eyes danced in never ending time.

cheeks flushed, lips chaffed, eyes danced in never ending time
i'm back as a child skating with my brothers
on ice drawing a very fine line
laughing as the ice starts cracking
but knowing when to stop
and jump away from risk that day
we hopped upon the rocks
then walked home slowly down the railroad tracks

walking home slowly down railroad tracks
carrying the weight of it all upon my back
no lack of trying to lose that load
counting ties while sadness goads

ideas of futures that will never be
wash now like rain I cannot see
as pain eminates from every pore
I cross the threashold then close the door

I cross the threshold then close the door
like the pages in the book of my life
turn the page and start writing
today is the first day of the rest of my life

what do I want?
What do I need?
Where will I go?
Who will I meet?

Who will I meet at the party
when an invitation was never sent
being forever late and tardy
feels like I'm charged too much rent

down play the hype of the season
in is now out with that crowd
the lyrics so full of true meaning
repeatedly broadcast too loud

repeatedly broadcast too loud
the lies echo in my head
cry or scream or punch the wall
to ease the ensuing dread

if truth wins out and this is past
tell me what will we have learned
that time lost now served the sacred cow
and the lea needed to be burned

the lea needed to be burned
after the giving of what was earned
the only thing that i learned
is that all things in life are ephemeral

no point in figuring what i did own
or all the chances that were blown
least the soul i sold is again my own
I hope that she's content and all

(hopefully without the use of demerall)

I hope that she's content and all that jazz
filled up from orgasmic razzmataz
then I can go play a game of golf
or watch a b-movie starring Dolf

She'll be smiling long and deep enough
to skip over my coarse and rough
let me turn the amp up to ten
while we rock and roll in the den

while we rock and roll in the den
singing songs of places we've been
and of how we survived our deepest sin
it aint our fault we're still breathing

distortion pedals nailed to the floor
the reverb makes me shake straight to the core
what is your weakness? Mine is more
the day will come for our wreathing

the day will come for your wreathing
this time visionary, is our blessing
caressing, messing, no more undressing
skin will peal may never heal

the heart beating no more its quiet now
wait no longer, no hunger, our kill our cow
hot the body feels, the dead one no alibi
fancy clothing, black, white fashion, my oh my

Fancy clothing, black, white fashion, my oh my,
Takes my breath away,
He moves in silence,
His face I cannot see.

He is moving towards me,
My eyes are a prisoner to his gaze,
My heart beating wildly,
Wondering if there is an escape.

Wondering if there is an escape
rewind oh de planets, stop the tape
voices, faces, music, missing his make or break
the silence with a voice, the night with no rest

speaking the dog hardly in jest
start anew in the morning life will begin
cornflakes, socks, feet, eat, toil
always together twisting turning, let the road make the spin

It's me who has you as my curse
stay with me baby Lorrainre Ellison
outdoing the rival a rusty old song
ghostly the nightfall trees bristle with thirst

what time was before for after there's none
anticipating to touch this, remember not to burst
slay every do gooder, don't break this spell
of unknown languages nor numerical tell

unknown languages nor numerical tell
explains what's etched in the stone
tis more symbolic with a faint sweet smell
meant to drag you out of alone

a whistle blow from round the bend
as they watch the restoration
brings me back to that fine time when
an affair had an open invitation

an affair had an open invitation
a coin tossed to a wishing well
a turned heel and tuned head
limbs askew falling out of bed

laughter shared an inspiration
My eyes close on a quiet noon bell
Lives lived a funeral of the dead
I rememember what I did and said

I rememember what I did and said
but never when nor why
this moment is how all are paid
the coins of time yet fly

If ever what ghost I gave or spent
somber grows in your dear heart
tomorrow I will yet repent
our hands together lips apart
