I got dressed and walked out on her
but thats my choice
disheartning though to see that being smooth skinned unmarked clean cut and clean living is just so out of fashion so to speak
oh well if you like them and have them your choice to do so - and I dont begrudge you that
just as long as you respect the fact I dont like them and will have nothing to do with a woman that has them ( harder to find a woman without them now )

Posted: 9/17/2007 10:42:11 AM | First off, I have NO tats on my body ( although I really really want one, just can't decide on what to get and where haha ) Well I personally find tats a little sexy IF they aren't too outrageously big or "mean" looking haha! There are times when it IS a complete turn off and I feel like I should turn around and run like hell because the man might act like his tat looks!! I know thats not true with EVERY tat, as a matter of fact there are some that do look ok even if they are humongous. BUT everyone has their own preferences. | |

Sorry but I have to side with your potential mates, as being disgusting and disfiguring to have tatoos, as well as a huge turn off....
Okay okay stop with all the e-mails already. Because of my earlier post. My mailbox has been on overload, asking so you won't have anything to do with me or even talk to me because I have a tattoo..
So let me clear this up, even though I think tattoos are disgusting and disfiguring and a turn off, that does not mean I will not except that in you.
That's a choice you made in your past life, I can accept it as long as it's nicely done. But here's the catch, if you were my date or my lover. I would hope at least you'd asked me how I would feel, about you getting one, or another one, I would tell you I'd rather you not, and hope you would reconsider.
I am certainly not going to judge you are condoned you are consider you not an option, most certainly not. I didn't think such a small post would start such a commotion. But hey, I loved all the e-mails, but enough is enough

I have one its not to big and its on my left shoulder blade. I got there because its a spot that won't be hard to cover for work and the such. Posted: 10/11/2007 8:35:20 PM | | this is another one of those thats just a preference thing..while ya i agree that if ya have tats they shouldnt be crappy lookin or "prison" tats so to speak..but professionally done ones look good..ive got alot of female friends that have tats and they look good on them its just something thats being alot more accepted in society today..i mean plus if i said no it looks trashy on a girl..hell id be the biggest hypocrite considerin ive got both arms sleeved and then some..well over 120hrs of work so far..i think alot of beautiful girls look amazing with tats..or i should say alot of girls in general look amazing with tats..but def if shes gonna have tats..at least make them tasteful and not crappy.. | |

I wish I had gotten all 3 of mine larger.
My next 2 pieces that are planned, will definitely be of the right size. Have my 1st one down my spine, 2nd was a 1/2 sleeve, 3rd was on my rib cage.
I love tattoos when done for the right reasons. Tramp stamps, while forgivable, are becoming very tacky and unoriginal. Hard to fault a girl that's had one for over 5 years though.
I personally, love any piece of body modification that is done in a good way. Most of the time is shows that the women has a wild streak, is confident in herself, and has diverse tastes which is not only a preference in my partner but a requirement.

Posted: 10/11/2007 11:30:41 PM | I personally would never get one, however I find them kind of sexy on a fine looking lady as long as they are not super large or distasteful. Although the tramp tats (the ones on the small of the back just above the ass) are a complete turn off. Although I probably wouldn't go so far as to stop seeing a women if she had one.
While it wasn't this forum, but instead was a music forum that I frequent this kind of question came up about dating women with tattoo's. One of the responses went like this: "I like a women that has a tattoo. It means she is willing to make a mistake that she will regret later in life!". Oh the subtleties of that statement are so profound! | |

While with me, she got the other sleeve started, the back of her neck, and the other half of her back started. And, a lot of her art was skulls/flames and such.
I have yet to meet a woman as sexy and ladylike as her, but hope too. | |

It does also depend on how well you look after them. But really bright and multi-coloured tattoos can also look kinda trashy. That's just my opinion. | |

This would not stop me talking to a guy though - and if the man of my dreams turns out to have tatoos - then if he is the one, they will be part of him and be fully accepted!
After all you do not choose who you fall in love with or what they look like...and you accept them for who and what they are! | |
