May I suggest for every action there is a reaction or something like that ,you'd know best but anyways ,pick a saturday night after payday ,pick a pub ,make it around 8:00 and start it off. ignore the war of the roses and such like thats history and we cant live in the past ,and they shall come in numbers.

| Yorkshire Posted: 10/30/2006 3:01:51 AM | Does someone want to suggest a meeting place? The arguements bout Lancs/Yorks can rumble on, and if needed recipes swapped to see who can make their pudding rise the most. Might a pub in Leeds be central to everyone (please No geography lessons) End of November - and plan a Christmas meet - 06 that is! Lets do more than talk Let me be the first to wish everyone Merry Christmas! | |

Something is happening. I've been talking to Paul (dec1an) and we've decided to pinch the Manchester idea and try for Tiger Tiger. We are going to go and do a rece in the Leeds Tiger Tiger on the 18th November, anyone interested could join us for a mini meet.
To be honest we were both thinking about something much less grandiose than a full blown Brum type meet, a few local fishes in a pub followed by horlicks and bed, but it's snowballing.
Not fixed a date yet but as the callendar is filling up it will be January at least.

| Yorkshire Posted: 11/20/2006 2:17:46 AM | OK Bob and I are meeting at the Scarborough on the 23rd November 06. All welcome http://forums.plentyoffish.com/datingPosts5881666.aspx We've chosen this pub cos it's opposite the train station in Leeds, easy to find, and we have to start somewhere. It's not a convenient pub for both Bob n me but we have to start somewhere. Hope you can all make it. If you can't make this Thursday we will be there for the next few weeks to give everyone a chance to come along and make decisions with us!
