Posted: 11/15/2006 11:17:50 AM | O.k update here for the party..lol..If you are over 21 and get there before 8:30 it's free to get in.After 8:30 it's $5.00 per person.If you are under 21 it is $10.00 to get in..Now mind you they can take a reservation for 25 which I have made for 8:00 p.m. if there is not at least 20 people there by 8:30 then we lose the table.So please show up lol..As I have worked my butt off to get this b/c he didn't want to make it for 45 or 50 people..Something about overcrowding..lol..Anyway it is set for the 2nd of Dec.. at 8:00 p.m. Try to get there a little early..ok..If everyone shows we will make room for everyone..ok..

Posted: 11/15/2006 5:06:24 PM | Perhaps I missed the answer to my question...? Does the Banque still have a policy that you can get in free if you bring a ticket from a previous event that day or night... like a movie, etc? Just curious... that's $5 more for a drink... HA!

Posted: 11/16/2006 7:56:47 AM | As I posted in the Saddleridge replies...you guys did a great job of hiding the party, not a single bouncer, bartender or host could tell me of a "POF" meeting area, table or general reservation. My day job kept me late so when I showed up around 2200 there were alot of people, but nary a banner, poster or friendly landmark for this fresh fish to find!
So if someone like me, who doesn't spend that much time in the forums, actually wanted to find someone from one this site at one of these events, how pray tell would I differentiate between a group of "ladies night out" friends from a "POF" group when I walk into a new pub, tavern, nightclub or bar?

Posted: 11/18/2006 9:09:53 AM | | The one thing about having Chat Parties is that the big bars kinda shy away from them ... what we have all done in the past is to find a spot to meet before hand for as many as possible thus allowing those that are new to get to know a few people and for all to get a small intro .... I also showed up to the saddle ridge party because a member told me about it before i signed up ... It was hard to tell who was who .... But i just may have to stop by the banque cause i have talked to alot of very nice folks on here so far .... so good luck with the party and maybe the "FAT MAN" will see ya'll there | |
