| Whats the Best Accent you've hear that you love... and why Posted: 12/13/2007 4:43:33 PM | I've always loved the Southern accents, from Texas and Louisiana, and having a southern accent myself, do enjoy it, but lately, in the last few years, I've taken a real bit fascination to the South Dakota/Minnesota accents.
I'm not sure exactly why, but it doesn't matter what it is they are saying, I could listen to them all day long and not bat an eyelash. Theres a few words that they clip that are distinct. Weird, yes, but we all have our oddities.

| Whats the Best Accent you've hear that you love... and why Posted: 12/13/2007 7:47:55 PM | | Espanol/Spanish Wow! The culture mixed in with the attittude makes me want to head south every chance I get and believe me I do. A beautiful Latina trying to speak English is so special she will leave you with a smile for years to come. Ever seen a Spanish woman pissed off mixing it with English? You can't even get mad because she is so cute. So I must say that is my Best Accent with French a close second.Viva Mexico! | |

UK, Ireland, Australia, Sweden, Germany, France, Mexico, Russia... sorry if I left anyone out...
... And let's not forget the Southern U.S. ... and occasionally, the NY/NJ accent...
OK, I like almost all accents that aren't like mine (midwestern), LOL.

| Whats the Best Accent you've hear that you love... and why Posted: 9/5/2008 4:25:57 AM | i like listening to new englanders. last evening, i placed an order with a mail order company from maine (not ll bean), and it made me remember how much i miss hearing about pahhhhhhhking the caaaahhhh.
english, scottish, irish and welsh accents are nice too. same with aussies.
having spent 14 years working for a mail order herb company, i heard accents from all over the u.s. and canada. the dakotans cracked me up because they always sounded bewildered.
the central pa accent gets on my nerves...locals will know what i mean.
but the only accent that really turned me off was u.s. southern.

| Whats the Best Accent you've hear that you love... and why Posted: 9/5/2008 10:42:45 AM | Ooooo...well I must admit, I do have a bit of an accent fetish...
It's probably my heritage saying this, as my ancestors are all from the UK. so I love anything that sounds "British" based, so English, Australian or even South African. Irish and Scottish blokes have a nice lilting accent as well, so they're right up there too.

Someone once told me that he liked my charming "Canadian Accent". I thought "What Accent"? If there was an accent, he was the one who had it!
