| Whats the Best Accent you've hear that you love... and why
Posted: 9/10/2008 3:00:32 PM | I think the Belfast accent is the absolute best EVER - ok well the more posh sounding ones anyway. There's an accent I've heard in Belfast on certain estates that almost sounds Glaswegian and I don't like that too much. The Belfast accent is followed closely by most Scottish ones. There's an accent that comes from southern Scotland that I just adore.
I adore the the Belfast accent cause, well other than a huge crush I had on a guy from there, it just sounds sexy, exotic, playful and pissed the fuck off all rolled up into one. Scots accents remind me of rolling hills and are the most relaxing, I could just listen to the cadence in a Scots accent and get so wrapped up in that beautiful sound I forget to attend to the words. At the same time, their accents can hold a lot of passion and fire. Just lovely!
I have to say my least favorite are Aussies and super posh English accents where it sounds like they are swallowing some of the words - yuck. | |

What does it for me, is the soft sound of someone I am dating, when they speak for my ears only........................................................WOW!
To me its like chocolate for the ears............................very yummy!!!!!!!!

A real one is the best - however the best 'fake' Australian accent I've EVER heard belongs to American actor, Rick Peters (Sue Thomas F.B Eye)
I didn't realize till I saw him on other shows that is accent was fake | |

Posted: 9/11/2008 4:21:15 PM | | Seems a lot of people like the Aussie accent.Thank you.I have always wondered why different English speaking countries have different accents.Shouldn't we all just sound English, Irish, Scottish or Welsh as that is where our language comes from?.No, it hasn't worked out that way.Every English speaking country has its own unique accent and i am yet to find anyone who can explain why.Me personally i like the Jamaican accent, sounds so cool. | |
