...I could listen to someone with a Scottish accent read the telephone book and it would sound sexy.

Last year I met with friends in Alabama and they teased me about having a "cute little Canadian accent"....Hello....can they not hear themselves?

I am a Labradorian but my family is Newfoundlanders, so i am what we call a Newfadorian, I have lived on the main land and many people couldnt understand me.. espically when i say sauce. My ancestors are Irish and that is what my favorite accent is, not just to hear where my accent came from, but to hear it properly with out any other slang that has been added on in the last 70 years, and a nice Auzzie could talk me to sleep any night

Not necessarily in this order, but comes to mind as this;

Irish - talked to an Irish guy recently, very thick...was from Donegal, Ireland
and man...I must have asked him to repeat everything he said 3 times just because I LOVED hearing how he said it! LOL, I tried to find friends to introduce him to, just to hear him say his name over and over! It was hilarious!

Australian - Russell Crowe, so rugged!
Scottish - Sean Connery, no matter what he says, how old he is, music to my ears!
Southern US...e.g. Texas...Matthew McConaughey, sweet! Oh and Alabama....hearing Josh Lucas do a Southern-Alabama accent made me melt into a puddle on the floor!

Any of those accents turns me into mush! A complete and utter fool!

I do love my own accent and that of the guys here in the UK, however I LOVE the Irish accent. My Dad is Irish, love going over to visit him and chatting to the lovely Irish men.

French. Didn't like the guy nearly as much as his accent, though.

I personally just LOVE a Ukrainian (or Russian) accent, from a woman that speaks fluent English, because the accent is great and they still stumble over the nuances of speaking "American"... How cute!

Love a Spanish accent on a woman, and coupled with the strut that they and Latinas have, goddamn! Also find slavic accents soft, exotic and feminine on women as well.

Don't generally like British accent, they tend to sound so stuck up.
I think it is more about the voice itself though than the accent really.

Love a delicious American or Canadian accent, I spent some time in Indonesia and was part of the expatriate community there and had a great friend from Oregon, another from Wisconsin and then another from Saskatoon!

Just loved their accents, and they liked mine!

Last week in a bar here in Toronto a girl thought I was faking my English accent. Even though we talked for over an hour I just couldn't convince her it was genuine
