I like french, southern states and well spoken british english, not the****ey stuff. :)

| Whats the Best Accent you've hear that you love... and why Posted: 3/26/2009 4:25:07 PM | I love a man with a French accent...I speak some French and love that western European accent along with the "hand talk" that goes with it....When I was in Paris I used to ask directions just to hear the accent...and at the clubs at night, I was in heaven with all of the conversations.......I will leave the story about a male stranger in Paris that bought me lingerie while I was shopping in one of the shops, had them wrapped, handed the package to me and then just walked out of the store for another time. True story.......
Brits also have a sexy accent ...another time I was in London and went to a pub with friends...They have the best slang words......
Spanish is also very nice. My daughter attended college in Madrid and when I visited there a few times I had the opportunity to meet some of her professors....I love to listen to her talk even now.
The one language that I don't care for is Polish...I attended a Polish Catholic School for grade school; we had to learn how to say our prayers in Polish...I remember one time I told a neighbor lady to shut her mouth in Polish when she yelled at me for picking an apple off her tree. (...The only words I learned were "shut your mouth" and "what an old biddie", or something similar)...both times my Mother made me sit in the corner and then ...and made me write an apology letter to her in Polish. My sister and I laughed about this for years...but we left her apples alone after that.

| Whats the Best Accent you've hear that you love... and why Posted: 3/26/2009 7:19:53 PM | The different Australian accents really float my boat. Funny though was when I visited Australia and was WAY out in the outback I started a conversation with Ranch owner that I met at a petrol station. Even though we were both speaking english, we had trouble understanding each other. But we finally figured out that we just had to speak more slowly, then it was fine. LOL
Also like Scottish, Irish, English and French accents.

| Whats the Best Accent you've hear that you love... and why Posted: 3/26/2009 11:55:12 PM | Ooooo. I do love Italian men but I've never met one that still had an accent unfortunately.
So if we're sticking to the ones I've talked to, it would have to be a tossup between Russian, Australian, and English. Ohhh man, I remember the Australian one was pretty damn thick and I had trouble understanding what he was talking about even though we were speaking the same freakin language but it almost didn't matter
On a different note, if he's got an accent and can speak in his native language to boot, well...

Great to hear that the British accent is so popular. I'm fond of the American accent and also the French. I had a French boyfriend who used to tell me that all he wanted out of life was 'a penis'. It took a while to figure out that what he actually wanted was 'happiness'.
priceless!! | |

| Whats the Best Accent you've hear that you love... and why Posted: 7/27/2009 4:48:45 PM | Australian, from a guy with an incredibly rich, deep, mellow voice. Something about the prenunciation, his inflections, his deep soulful eye contact and his tone of voice melted me totally. Though maybe the beach in Padre had something to do with it too...
I still melt thinking about it... and it was a really long time ago; but GORGEOUS voice. (the person behind it wasn't too shabby either)...

| Whats the Best Accent you've hear that you love... and why Posted: 7/29/2009 12:38:08 PM | | I LOVE LOVE LOVE ACCENTS some are more attractive than others ofcourse but send me and Australian like Heath Ledger or a southerner like Matthew Mcaunaghy and I might just be hooked on accent alone, it's sexy and alluring. Just no french please or eastern Canadian ;p I have a slight polish accent but only when I spend time with them a lot I pick it up again. I know guys used to be attracted to my voice and accent even though how faint it was | |
