EDIT:
I used to have a thing for Scandinavian accents...but then I spent four years there and now I don't even hear their accents (they were very subtle to begin with. I love hard accents!!).

I know I know I'm Canadian and there really isn't that much difference between the way we speak but I just love the subtle differences in the way some american men speak. ya'll (oh look I'm turning into a texan right now!) can have your exotic sounding accents and give me an American guy any day!

I'm fond of the American accent and also the French. I had a French boyfriend who used to tell me that all he wanted out of life was 'a penis'. It took a while to figure out that what he actually wanted was 'happiness'.

As for men, I think that a Southern accent is really sexy, especially being called babe or baby.

Just like the saying "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder," my favourite accent is "in the EARS of the beholder" -- from Massachusetts.
