And it seems I always encounter it the most when I'm in the biggest hurry to get somewhere (running late for something important). They really need to make roads out of materials that are more durable. | |

Posted: 6/7/2008 4:07:24 AM | wow, robitty, i thought i was the only woman that got screwed in a divorce! lol. but i just wanted it over. fellas, yes, it is true, sometimes the woman gets screwed!!! my ex has two brothers that are lawyers and a best friend (best man at our wedding), and he made darn sure that he walked away with zero debt! i had to buy his interest out of the house, so i forfeited child support for three years. but i'll say this, IT WAS WORTH EVERY LAST PENNY!!!

No one got the others income, retirement, investments, or debts. But, we had to live in the house together for 4 months after the divorce until the house sold. We couldn't afford to buy the other out. What sucked for me is that he was already dating before the divorce was final. He has even tried to reconcile with me the month before he hooked up with someone else. Ick. | |

The sun was HOT and bright, the water was beautiful, I got in three times, met some amazing new friends, became a new adopted mom and didnt have to go thru childbirth to do it, LOL, the beach was so fantastic and like Lee had told us, it doesntrain in heaven. When we thought it was going to rain, it sprinkled for less then two minutes and the sun immedately came back out and you never knew it rained. People missed an awesome event. Kudos to beachy boy for his hard work and effort! Ohhhh and let me NOT forget those amazing Pina Coladas he made us from scratch!!! Woohoo, deliciouso! | |

I cannot for the life of me find it anywhere! I took it off before work last night and now its just,,,,,,,gone! lol

I searched the house high and low for my of black bras...I mean, I am the only female that lives here right? I had to run out and buy a new one early Saturday morning before I left and I still haven't found them yet...wth!!! And my white shorts are missing, did this stuff really grow legs and run away? Or is it like the socks you put in the washer and never see again? Grrr, grumble grumble, grumble! Bras are way too expensive for these games
I'm wearing a pink Tshirt but I swear it's mine, honest!
Opps, had to edit this...another big pet peeve....dumb people who don't wear sun block so that they get so sunburned they have to stay home from work because they cant wear pants and shirts (or bras for that matter)....and silently suffer in pain!
Okay....that'd be me and I'm not silently suffering...I'm cussing myself out everytime i move and groan cause it hurts so bad....what a dummy! No sympathy for this idiot who wasn't smart enough to realize that just because you've a nice tan doesnt mean you won't burn sitting on white sand next to water in a blazing sun all day! | |

After doing a business case on this problem, I'm showering every three and a half days now to do my part in energy conservation. It not only saves on hot water, but the soap lasts almost a full month instead of a week. | |

Posted: 6/9/2008 6:27:31 AM | rapture, i understand how you feel. i drive the speed limit, and i have people coming up on me even in the slow lane!!! for real, i tick off drivers daily. i do go into the fast lane if i want to get by a bunch of semis and ill go like 75 mph, and folks come up behind me all irritated because i'm not doing 80. i don't mess with drivers that go over the speed limit. my office knows that when i get sent on an assignment that is called in because someone forgot to schedule the meeting and i have to be there that i will not speed. i drive what is safe for me. and right now, the fast drivers are not the problem, it is those darn crotch rockets!!!! holy cow, one blew by me saturday night on 696, and i am guessing he was going 100 miles her hour. it scared me! LOL.
the other night, i picked up my mom. we were on outer drive in dearborn, and i believe the speed limit is 35. there is only two lanes. i was going the speed limit, and there was a car next to us, and the lady behind me was going crazy and on my tail, and flashing lights. i could not get over. traffic was thick. well, about a mile, the traffic thinned. that is where i was turning left anyways. well, a few blocks before i was to turn left, she finally gets over to the right of me and honks her horn. i look over and she was screaming and had the hugest scowl on her face! my mom was oblivious to her, LOL. so i waved and had a huge smile. and the lady speeds up and cuts right in front of me.
so, yes, i do know i go the speed limit. LOL. my sister drove with me up north one time, and from here to lewiston two drivers gave me the finger. she could not believe it. i was in the slow lane, LOL. but they still get irritated and pass by. she's like, omg, i don't think anyone's ever given me the finger driving!!!! and i was like welcome to my world!!!!!!! and, no, i am not trying to tick them off or be a smarty pants. i have places to get to, too. and i am sure there are times when i'm speeding, LOL

Posted: 6/9/2008 6:34:11 AM | Joanne, thank you for doing your part in energy conservation. We all should take this seriously and put caps on road ragers. Speeding costs money because your mileage goes down. Uncle Sam and Exxon-Mobil both appreciate drivers who are good role models.

Awwww,,i feel your pain, chicky poo! Ive been burnt many-a-time to a crispt due to my lack of having enough brains to use sunblock and i KNOW im a freckled, fair skinned gal too! lol One year a bf and a mine went floating down the river and it took us almost 3 hours to get from point A to our destination. Didnt hit me till i was in bed that night and ohhhhhhh boy did it sure wake me up! I had huge blisters all over my body that were so water filled that they literally were hanging.  Keep 100% Aloe on it chicka!!

BBBB, you've accomplished the impossible......you made ME laugh...
To do my bit for ecology, I have decided to feed one cat every other day.
1. They poop less, and I use less plastic disposal bags.
2. I buy less litter in those plastic jugs and less food in the tin cans.
3. They are not as active so I have less hair to clean, ergo less running of the vacuum which saves on energy, etc.
Methinks that turquoise shirt has created a 'monster'......gonna have to get you some more beads to counter-act the color induced hysteria......
