First let me explain...I go for a walk everyday , Dr. orders..well anyways to pass the time, I collect cans and sell then to sell and buy drinks for later. This is getting ahead of myself.
#1--Nature calls, lucky there are 3 restrooms spread out over walk way, it's 5 miles long, along the Tn. River, anyways am in stall doing#2, and finish, reach for T.P. and find out none, usually check but was in a hurry this time..well am not going to use finger ewwww, so pull up underwear and shorts and walk out hoping to get a paper towel's, you guess it, in the towns wisdom use air hand dryers, can't image sticking my as# up there to dry, think about going across hall to Ladies, can't because just think what if certain Ladies are in there planning next pool trip..so go back in stall and use my boxer-briefs, hell at least I put then in garbage on way out..now boys and Mr. Talleywacker is floating free, man I hate that free part but calling him by a name Dic# just don't sound right..
#2- Walking along and get attack, 3rd time this summer, by May Flies, why they don't just hatch in May is beyond me, ever tree I go by, there are 3 bad spots, they don't bite, but don't open your mouth..
#3 Am walking and last but not least, get hit in the head by a walnut, don't know why it had to fall off tree just as I'm walking underneath,, maybe one of BADMUSTANG squirrel friends down here to.
There was more but I figure 3 pet peeves were enough..
C.W. At least I can laugh about now..
P.S. Forgot all about cans...man I hate that, no drinks tonight.. | |

Once when I was carrying mail I saw a city truck run over a basset hound. I couldn't believe that it didn't kill it but we got the owners and they took it to the vets. Thankfully it was ok and only minor injuries. I can't even go into the humane society.....lol everytime I have gone in there I tend to want to take them all home with me... I love animals | |

the last thing was got back to car after walk and all that, picked up a nail on the ride over and when got back to car after walk, had a flat...changed and got fixed, it only cost me $2.00 but is now a spare!!

those people who let their animals get OUT to ruin Deb's (and my!) day....I have picked up soooooooooo many animals running loose in the street....(dogs and cats, that is..you guys are on your OWN!), they are afraid, lost.......saw a dog get hit by a car one day....cause some stupid owner didn't have him penned in right.....I can still picture it now....... | |

When events and things are taken off, that you signed up going to, because somebody complained to POF!!
Now you know why I'm not posting no more, after this one, some are probaly saying good riddance, good-bye and have fun..will stay in my own state..not mad just wiser now, it took me awhile, but have a good ideal who they are..It's them, This is not a self pity tread, just fact!!

If you feel that someone is deleting your threads just because you do not live in Michigan, if i were you id contact a Mod and let them know. No one has the right to delete your posts unless its totally subject unrelated or abusive toward another POF member.
My pet peeve of the day:
people who THINK they are holier than thou and control other peoples thread postings for unwarrented reasons. Shame on you whoever you are. | |

So I asked my friendly little Mod friends.. FYI.. this could happen to you lol.
Message I got from Mod...
"Your option to vote on threads that violate forum rules was nixed, pinched, lifted, removed, taken away, due to your inability to vote correctly.
Examples would be: Voting to keep redundant threads , chat threads, contact broadcasting, etc. threads alive, or voting to delete perfectly good threads."
(I voted to keep too many "bad" threads alive, so was punished) | |

Only a party host (for party threads) has the rights to delete posts......or a co-host.....
On THESE regular threads, there is an 'option' to delete a post that someone made within a certain time frame....not even the OP can just 'delete' ANY post.....
If posts were deleted from REGULAR threads, they were either requested from ANY POF member who wasn't happy with it, OR someone complained to the mods....
If posts are deleted from PARTY threads, it may be at the discretion of the hosts.....OR the Mods......
It usually takes a complaint to get the Mods involved, though. FYI ! | |

LHL I happen to to think its nonsense they give party hosts control over the party threads. There are too many people out there that would just use this power to delete people they don't like or don't kiss their butts and agree with them. I've seen it happen, in fact it happened to me. I wasn't mean but I was deleted for pointing out how childish people on both sides of an issue were. I guess the hostASS didn't like reading the truth!!!! | |
