Hoping for a hand here - my IM always worked before - last used last week - now when I go to IM someone, the communications box opens - but it's blank/white! - and stays that way ...
I have followed the steps recommended in the help - it is turned on - and I have gone through the technical support tips too - Java works, Flash is installed (mind you when exiting that little box, the Mozilla Firefox window/full screen is blank/white too - have to close with top right x button) and have tried allowing www.POF and allowing pop-ups ... have read most of the posts here too!
At this point, there is nothing else I can see to try - Please help!

Sometimes the Server is very busy, so try another time. | |

Posted: 1/6/2006 6:08:55 PM | umm regarding your list of possible spyware pop up blockers that are blocking my im's.
i have seen 2 or 3 times in my bottom right corner of screen say: blocked pop up from plenty of fish.com then view highlighted in blue (view).. i click on view nothing
i need to know which of those lists ie internet explorer or which one of the list of the google ones or whatever; i am using so i can disable my pop up blocker- i tried a few couldn't get it to work- went to settings, tried tools.. nothing fit your description
pls help and tell me which one i am on based on the clues given or if there is a way to find out..!
what i would like is to allow popups only when i am on pof and then return the blocker after, or perhaps allow it for this site only instead of the manual option..

Posted: 1/9/2006 10:42:57 PM | When someone writes me using the IM it pops up on my screen (yes I know the initial contact will pop on my screen), but if me and the other person is having a conversation is there a way to keep the IM screen down in my taskbar instead of it popping up everytime the other user presses send?

You might want to study up on that ... type Browser into 'Google' and search & study.
I got a web cam, and I can turn the mic on or off, but it won't allow me to turn on the video..not sure if that's a Fish problem or a cam problem.
Possible Video Card or WebCam Driver Issue, or combo/conflict thereof.

Not so far ... will still pop up for now ... there is no setting to stop it from doing so.

I am havine problems with the messaging....a couple of people tried to i.m. me and the wrote me and said it was blocked...I go to my mail click on the instant message link and it also says " a pop-up window has been blocked" I tried the help features and nothing works...What do I do... Also in my hot-mail it says I have a message from plentyoffish, I go into it and click the link to read my message and when I get to my list of messages...the one I want is not there...can you tell me what is going on please...
