I tried everything possible I could find in "help" for IM. Since yesterday, I'm not able to use IM or others to IM me; error message "will connect in 10 seconds" which never happens.

I am aware of at least two: 'Windows Messenger' (which is installed on my PC and displays an icon looking like a green chess pawn in the task bar) and Instant Messenger for Windows. Someone on this site asked me asked me to IM her, but I have no idea what to do next. Do I need to enter her personal email address in my IM 'contacts' ? Flash and pop-ups are enabled on my PC. Posted: 3/11/2006 11:17:00 AM | Hi Pinocchio, I am not aware on here that you need to have any special program to Instant Message a user on here, just have to ensure that they are on line. If it says IM them under thier name that means they are on line, and just hit the IM thing.
I am running on a Mac computer, and I do not have any problems with the IM, howeveer my Sister does running on a PC, have to go up to her place yet and figure it out. Just ensure in your profile settings you have your IM option turned on. | |
