I was able to send and receive messages up until a few days ago now I keep getting a message saying that I Need to update my flash player. I do that and still not working. Please explain to everyone including myself why this is happening and what you are doing to fix it? | |

1-before installing any program, un-install the old version of the same program from the control panel add/remove
2-reboot the pc and before installing the new version, make sure not a single program is running and stop your virus checker before starting an install.
3-download flash and java from the official sites to avoid getting all the spyware with it. | |

I've done everything you posted. Java script is fine, flash is true, pop ups enabled correctly to allow plentyoffish
My problem is that I don't receive the option of 'accept/decline'. Windows just automatically pop open. I'm getting a lot of back lash from people thinking I accepted an invite to chat then ignored them. What can I do to enable that option to see an IM request? Is there something I'm missing here? I've read endless pages on Instant Messenger in the forums and haven't found my answer yet. I'd appreciate some feedback. Thanks !!! :)

I get the connected window, I type in the message, only to receive a suggestion to email this person if they don't get the instant message. Though, sometimes I have instant message, but very very few times, maybe two... I've been on POF 2 months now... this is very annoyning.... but glad email works... At any rate, I'm glad POF is Completely free..... | |
