Is there anyway to archive massages?
Nope. Dave, my understanding of it is that the IM program is from an external provider and is private - not monitored or recorded. Even if POF had a say, which they don't, most people wouldn't want the IMs archived anyway.

| Can Anyone HELP ?
Posted: 7/28/2006 4:21:18 AM | The problem must lye withing the site design. I use to be able to instant message people but now I can't. Anyone can message me, and I can have a converstion, I just can't initiate one. Has always worked before and I have 5 different computers in 5 diferent locations, home, work, cottage etc. They all do the same thing .... I can not initiate a chat, but can respond to one if someone chats me.
What does that tell us ..... I would think the problem is within the site software.
Only thing I can think of is to create another account and see if the problem goes away?

Posted: 8/3/2006 1:48:14 PM | Test says Javascript enabled and flash true. But I have not been able to IM a friend.
She sent message I got a pop up and responded yes. IM screen opened and i responded . It then said waiting for her to connect and no connection was received. It timed out and said it was sending email which it never did.
