Make sure your Profile is not hidden.
Make such Settings here: Hide/Un-hide Profile
I have tried to DL the latest Flash numerous times, and it never downloads and I can't message anyone, nor can they message me. the window opens to try to download it, but the option isn't there to actually do it. and when it was....it failed. HELP!!!!!!

Posted: 9/20/2006 7:43:03 PM | i found out the solution for IM. it might work for u guys n all hotties in trouble. In IE >tools>internet option..Now goto every tab and click default one by one and click apply>ok. In second part of game goto your ISP( for ppl using Shaw Secure) open it up by dbl clickin Shaw secure icon, click Advanced on right bottom. Now click real time scannin, uncheck Block tracking cookies in Action section. now on the same page goto Browser control by clickin it, uncheck Block activeX install requests. Close Shaw secure. There you go .close all IE browsers and restart IE again... goto POF and enjoy.

I download flashplayer and it is installed but the IM will not recognise it, what is going on, people try to im me all the time and I cant reply they going to think me rude soon.
Who is helping us with this? Any ideas anyone how to sort this out - downloaded and installed flashplayer twenty maybe thirty times now and still no IM

You need to install Flash if its saying false. Google for Flash. Download new version.
Loz: Lets do it step by step. Test your machine for Javascript, pop blocker and flash from the page 1 of this forum. I have the newer version of Flash. if you are already bored with testing your machine and Flash test result is comin up false then it means theres something wrong with the Antivirus/Antispyware settings which is not letting Flash get installed.
You could apply settings i posted lasttime. I dont know what Antivirus program are you usin. Right now I am sure theres nothing wrong with POF. | |
