"You need to upgrade your Flash Player by clicking this link" .. i was talking to someone an hour ago.. and it worked fine.. i did install and re-boot but the same message keeps coming up.. it just isnt working at all now.. can you help me>>>please??. everything you suggested is working and i did upgrade and re-boot still the same message keeps coming up.... i just found this im window problem after i posted in the help section...i also notice for the past few weeks trying to use the im window totally crashes mine and other friends pc's too.. only minutes after starting to talk.. so msn has been getting the chat rather than POF.. dont know what the problem is.. if you can help it would be so great

Posted: 12/25/2006 8:56:57 PM | Hi there - just reading about your problem with the IM window - if I may suggest a couple of things
1)Goto "Microsoft Windows Update" site and ensure you have all the current updates
2)if you haven't already done so, download the new version of Internet Explorer
(version 7.0)
3)once you've done both, then you should be ok with using the IM Windows

Did you ever get an answer? I am having the same problem. I know someone is trying to IM me but the box just goes away. I have no trouble initiating an IM session from my end.
Would love to hear if you resolved this problem.

Posted: 1/7/2007 3:06:33 PM | | you can also push ALT and CTRL at the same time befor you press yes on request for I.M leave ALT and CTRL buttons pressed down until you have pushed the yes button and if you are trying to I.M some one else it will popup as if you where being I.Med,just hold down the 2 buttons and press the yes and it will let you I.M them and you dont have to take off any of your blockers. | |
