Second: if your question involves the IM feature, congratulations! read post #1476 CAREFULLY.
Third: if your question is about ANYTHING else -
You're in the WRONG THREAD!

For the vast majority of you who seem to fall into group 3, read the following CAREFULLY:
You have a problem or question that doesn't concern the IM feature, it's PROBABLE that the answer is available already.
Now, note the thread pinned to the top of the Plentyoffish Site/Suggestions/Help forum, it's different than most of the others as it is in bolded red upper-case text, read the thread title, please pay attention to the last 6 words:
FREQUENTLY DISCUSSED QUESTIONS - PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU POST
Check to see if your particular question, problem, or comment is addressed, from what I can see, it probably is.
IF it isn't -do a thread search FIRST (a link to search instructions is in the above thread), and if you still can't find what you're looking for, please ask your question in the Plentyoffish Site/Suggestions/Help Forum

To prove that he right- he sent me email t/h plenty of fish..and i received-tell me how its happened? to prove that i right i sent him "copy" of my profile where is said "to unhide your profile click HERE"
listen, i do not wanted to delete my profile(just hide) till i'm sure with my date..what now? i have to go back for searching? its suck!!!

I can get into mine fine but the other user loggin when entered keeps going back to me as the initial user. why can't two people on the same computer using plenty offish get access immediately after logging in . It is frustrating to alaways have the other person going through a reregistration deal in order to login.

You can stop message notifications (sent out when you get a message) in Mail Settings on plentyoffish.com. Unfortunately you cannot stop the latest matches emails usually sent out on Mondays - if these are a problem we'll remove your account upon request."
It would be good if you fixed this. I like to keep my emails to a dead minimum. I would only choose to be reminded of the site if and when I chose to visit it.
And yeah, it is grounds for canceling of the account for the annoyance factor of it. If I wanted to find out about new matches I'd visit the site and look myself.

Posted: 6/26/2007 8:40:58 AM | I have to keep logging in everytime I try to send an email. For instance, I'll log in, then, when I send an email, I'm ask to log in again. This is getting rather annoying. Then, when I try to chat, I'm asked to log in again. What is going on?

Flash updated and fine
Settings havent changed one iota since i joined
Was working fine on Tuesday
Then all of a sudden.. its not working
I can open the IM tool and send a message. All I get then is a message saying that if the user hasnt recieved this message, it will be emailed to them when I close the window. This happens EVERY TIME and frankly, I'm sick of it and tempted to leave this site as it was one of the main reasons I joined.
So, how do I fix it. My laptop is brand new, the software is up to date, the settings are as they were when I joined. So what's the problem???

My question is if I can keep someone from even viewing my profile. --------------- , he was sending hateful little emails about getting on his profile all the time and not writing him and giving him a chance. I dont get on his site. I have no interest in him. I blocked him from emailing me and he has now found me on other sites starting the same stalking mean letters. So he kaes a point to let me know hes watching me by getting on my profile alot.
Could you please let me know. He is probably doing it to other women too.

Posted: 7/1/2007 1:13:59 PM | I joined your site under the name of Phantom Dreams, Password Forever. I then let some friends use my computer to sign up with POF and let them use my other screen names. The next thing I knew was that all the responses were getting mixed up even though we all had different e-mail address. I finally told them they couldn't use my screen names any longer and deleted their accounts on POF. But now I can't seem to e-mail anyone. Even though it claimes message was sent. When I check the sent mail. It does not show up and I never hear from the person I was trying to contact. Even when I respond to their e-mails.
Appreciate any help you can be. I learned my lesson about letting others use my computer when I was not at home.

A female friend told me the green IM sign is not under my profile name. I tried turning IM off then on and rebooting but its still not working. I put on a couple of torso shots that the system removed but that wouldnt affect the IM would it? Any advice please? | |

Then it said to go back and repeat my answer in no.'s 5, 23, and 25. So from the start I answered those qustions and then was disconnected and it cancelled me and all my answers. Why did this happen.? It is after 10 pm. I cannot have the time to repeat this test again. I did it. So why did it fail?
