| No Browser Bar for uploading pictures

Apparently my bait got lost somewhere in the river, or the right gal just hasn't grabbed a clue and tried to catch this elusive catch.
None the less, I think I would like to add a close up picture, so I go and try and do that, and low and behold, no browser bar, nothing there to click and upload!
Can you explain? Also, is there anyone really meeting in person on this site?

| Profile on "Hide"
Posted: 5/28/2008 4:57:25 PM | If I hide my profile, will the people I have contacted in the past (as well as the people who have "favorited" me) still be able to see my profile? For instance, with my profile hidden, will people that I have exchanged emails with be able to see that I am on line? Furthermore, how about people who have viewed me in the past, will I show up in that scroll across the top of the page for them that I was on line?
I think the answers to my questions are yes but I thought I'd throw them out there anyway.
So the way I understand it, until I'm corrected is that you are only hidden from people that you have not had contact with or people who are new to the sight. Anyone who has viewed you, any favorites or people that you have had contact with, those people will still be able to see you when you’re on the site or have been active. The only thing that "hiding" a profile does is prevent you from being listed in any searches as well as not being displayed anywhere.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

I chatted with him on here for a while then added him to my yahoo messenger and, man he was asking me some very VULGAR questions so I blocked him!!!

This email is both bullying and demeaning and seems to have been written by a person that has serious anger issues.
Is there any recourse to prevent users from receiving emails of this type and to still enjoy your service?

Posted: 6/8/2008 10:24:24 AM | I check NEW USERS each day. Once in a while, about 20 fake profiles are entered all at once. You can tell because they repeat the same sort of About Me, they are all without pictures, they are all Intimate Encounter, they all have multisyllabic strange names, and they are in blocks, meaning they are created all in the same time period. THEY ARE FAKE and they eventually lead you to other singles sites or porn sites.
I try to REPORT them as SPAMMERS & SCAMMERS but that link on your HELP page does nothing.
I like Plenty of Fish and would like to help. If I had a channel to reach you directly, I could write down the user names for you and send them to you. Or if I had a way to delete them myself. I am a bright guy and have detected the pattern of fake profiles. I don't want to see Plenty of Fish get cluttered with fake profiles and I don't want my fellow brothers to get tricked either.

| PICTURE HELPPPPP!
Posted: 6/9/2008 11:56:47 PM | not really a reply to the existing message, but i am totally stuck on what the hell to do when it comes to uploading pictures. I've recently decided that i was tired of the ones i had and wanted to update them a little bit, however, when i tried to nothing was really accomplished. I went through the whole upload process and didnt see a single picture posted. I wasnt really given an automatic reason on why me uploading pictures was a lost cause, but i tried to log back in and resize just to see what would happen..ya, still nothing! I dont even see those little red "x's" talked about earlier..i see everything except my pictures... now people are gona think im some ugly duckling who just wishes not to show my face.. help me pleeeeeaaase lol. I'm tired and aggrivated. | |
