If someone is not on my favourites list
And I am not on thiers
How do they know Im online ??
I get messages off people I talk to immediately I log in, as if they can see me online immediately. I know there is a list on users online, but there are millions of people on there from all over the world. How do they find me so quickly ???
Sometimes Im just popping in for a quick look before work or something, and I get IM's within seconds, and then feel rude saying NO.

I just logged in now and within 30 seconds had someone wanting to talk to me on IM, but I no longer get the request and the chance to say Yes or No. They just appear and then you feel obliged to chat to them or look rude !!
Thing is...some of them ARE rude...looking for sexual encounters etc. I like to look at their profile first before I decide YES or No to chat to them.
Bit annoying !! | |

If someone is chatting will it show up on their profile as being in a chat conversation? I was questioned about chatting and hadn't been but was told that somehow it shows I am chatting.
Also if I have the "MUST Nots" does this apply to the IM as well. And as someone else pointed out earlier - if I have accepted a chat from someone who has contacted others for intimate encounters or whatever and didn't know it does that redflag me as well? I don't think I have been but I have gotten out of the blue chat requests from others I haven't even heard of and since they hadn't emailed me first I don't know if they were restricted or not. | |
