| Instant Messenger Help. Posted: 4/16/2009 7:05:13 AM | | actually this may not be so bad after all.... i have noticed that my emails are being read and responded to much quicker than before.... just means you have to pay more attention to your inbox and put a little more thought into what you want to say to someone! | |

| IM: Instant Messenger FAQ Posted: 4/16/2009 7:26:18 AM | | recently, the "IM USER" tag underneath an online user's name has changed to "online Now". As a result, you can not im a user any longer. This was a great feature and without it, I see no benefit to this site and I might as well pay to belong to another site. Will this be fixed our is pof just another "also ran" now? | |
|
| Instant Messenger Help. Posted: 4/16/2009 7:30:13 AM | | it also means no one on one with another user in real time...we all know real time interactions are much more substantial and desirable. do you really think its better to be restricted to email? come on, man, get real | |
|
| Instant Messenger Help. Posted: 4/16/2009 7:33:24 AM | | only when you try doing something the site owners (1.5 people..haha, a half person..hmmm?) do you find out the restrictions...such as: the 1.5 ppl are so full of themselves and their "take it or leave it" attitude won't even allow you to send THEM and email comment. Go ahead, kick me off the site, your im was your only great feature and you're full of shit | |

I see a massive increase in site use and number of people using the site when there is no IM.
How can you even know this? There has always been IM. Atleast in the 4 years I have used it. If you judge by the time people are online. (this could be the result of trying to figure out why its not working, and going to these forums to say wtf.). Or by the number of emails? Obviously people will send more emails when they can't communicate a better way. But in the long run you will loose hits if you don't come up with another messenger. | |

| IM: Instant Messenger FAQ Posted: 4/16/2009 3:54:15 PM | Ok why is IM discontinued Are you trying to turn a free site into a payed site? if so I will deleate my profile? This upsets me a lot because it was easyer to contact them instead of sending all these emails, that takes up time and longer ? Put it back on | |

| IM: Instant Messenger FAQ Posted: 4/16/2009 4:10:18 PM | | I wonder if the massive amount of email traffic that maybe caused due to the IM not available, may change anything else. | |
