| Text Messaging... I don't get it!
Posted: 10/27/2006 12:45:40 PM | Thank you King jaym. I tried to let it go however, I noticed that both the recent threads I created had individuals doing this. Each person from the same area.. Saying basically the same thing including the "blah blah blah" and both with no picture. So I kept responding in both posts to test my theory. Sure enough all the replies on each thread came at the same time within a few minutes of each other. When I mentioned it in the other thread both stopped responding in both..
You know i just had to test my theory lol

Its the comfort of knowing that you are talking to someone without making it obvious to others who you are talking to... and not having to deal with the emotional aspect or getting in too deep if you were talking on the phone.
In time if you text the person or chat with them online or hang out in person... you will get to know the person better... then when they are ready and comfortable, then they will talk more on the phone with you.
I just find talking on the phone boring... Cause then its harder to get things done around the house or run errands or drive or what ever... So a text here and there is fine with me.... I can answer it at my own time with no rushing... and the other person knows that.
So, if you think about it... There is plenty of reasons to text message... Sometimes you just have to be accepting of it... Or be straight up if you hate it and if they can't understand you hate it and back off of you, then maybe they are not right for you or just are not worth your time...
In the long run... Technology is advancing and you have to realize this is the NOW or the 2000's.... not the 1980's or anything like that... so you just are going to have to learn to be accepting of some things more than others... Some people prefer to do things in a technological way... While some people like to live the old fashion...
Bare with the moment now and work with it... before it gets worse...
That is the best I can say...
But yeah... either be acccepting of it and live it up... or tell them if they can't respect your wishes, then maybe it might be better if he not bother you any more...
