I hear about women that play games, but I have only met one in my life.
A lot of girls game nowadays...you just need to talk to them about it and see.
Myself....right now I am into Dreamfall, Myst V, Ghost Recon, and I love the Sim type games (City, Farm, Transport Tycoon, etc). I won't buy Sims 2, because then I won't have a life, but I like to build houses in the original Sims sets.
Favs are Myst-type puzzle games: Schizm is one of the best! | |

Posted: 11/6/2006 4:47:19 PM | I like MMORPG's although I am getting bored of the one I play now and find myself playing it less and less. Which is good. It means I am not a gaming addict.
I used to like it alot for the social aspect and getting together to do quests and what not with these new buddies.
I prefer to play with others but I also play solo.
I am really into The Sims 2 too. I go through phases of playing it in my spare time for weeks and then I get burned out. | |

I'm just glad those bullets are random blips of light and not the real thing. BEEN THERE DONE THAT, Don't plan on doing it again! I also like the Need For Speed Series except Porsche Unleashed. There was something missing with that game! But if and when I play a single player it would have to be one of the Command and Conquer series like Renegade. | |

Right now I'm playing a lot of Call of Duty 3 on my Xbox. I also play Lord of the Rings, Sims 2, Underground, Hitman 2, and Medal of Honor. I think since I'm stuck with this cold it's going to be a gaming night. Wheeee! | |

Posted: 3/5/2007 11:16:12 AM | I am glad to see there are so many gamers out here on POF. Just a hint for the ladys who and a bit of my own socal exsperiance. I have noticed a lot of women the me and my friends is that some of the woman we meet who say they are gamers are not realy gamers.
It's like some people who say they are readers and the last thing they read was the shower cleaner instructions and havn't read an acutal book in a few years. One girl my friend dated she owned a gamecube, PS2 and a Xbox just for the sake of impressing guys. he is a hevey gamer and figgered he scored the jackpot. untill he realised that she didn't own games the where not packaged with the systems when she bought them. Upseting for him because she would aways critisize him for playing . It's an islated case but I would like to see more people list the types of games they like to play. just a sugestion. | |

I beta tested the Sims online. Once it was released, I ended up with 4 accounts... had them all for about 3 years. Made a mark in the game and finally let go of my last account 2 months ago.
I now just play Sims off line (and I finally started a game I intend to play not using the money cheat) I have a neopet (love their mini games).
I like soccer, car racing, adventure, Zelda  .
LOVE the Will (any game really), Wario Smooth Moves, Wii sports, Rayman, Elebits, Zelda twilight Princess... Loved all the consoles that Nintendo ever put out they have the best games.
PS3 still continues to be disappointing but yesterdays GDC announcement released by Sony that PS3 owners will have a decent console by the end of the year (how convenient - just in time for Christmas) isn't making me like their system anymore then I did at release. Feel sorry for all those bastages on the sony fan sites that kept hyping up the "March update"We now have a expensive electronic photo album that plays blu-ray discs (whoopie)
UNO on Xbox live is super cool, viva pinata is cool, sonic, hobbit... must I go on?

Posted: 3/7/2007 11:55:52 PM | Okay lets see here, as a devoted gamer I'm not afraid to admit-- I love RPG's, especially Final Fantasy - I've already logged 100 hours on FFXII, which is me just doing the tedious stuff because I like the game. I've also spent my hours on Zelda starting with the Super Nintendo one up to Twilight Princess. And yes I did game on the original Nintendo - hazzas to duck hunt ;)
Also I got into MMPORPG's when City of Hero's came out, continuted by City of Villians and dabble in WoW. All of which I still somehow find time to play lol.
And of course I love my Soul Calibur, Tekken, Mario Party and few other random games.
Yes I am a proud gamer, even have a group of friends I get together with about once a month and just have a whole night of everyone bringing over whatever games to play and we'll, fight, dance, smash, sing, jump, leap, throw, blow up the whole night away lol. 
And as far as girls who try to be imposter gamers they should know it's impossible to fool guys when it comes to video games. | |

Posted: 3/8/2007 10:11:59 PM | Tribes,Planetside, City of Heores/Villains, WoW and DDO are what i currently play, played a lot more MMOs in the past. I also play tabletop and live action roleplaying games (vampire, D&D, etc etc)
