If I can get child care figured out by the closing date, I'm in. Too good to pass up.

I'm in the same dilemma about cabin mates though. I'm not trying to end up with some lech that will make my trip miserable.

There's no doubt that this is much more expensive. This same cruise can be purchased from Vacations to go at $529 for an inside room, based on double occupancy. I can't see paying $934 for the exact same thing just to put an additional $405 profit in someone else's pocket.

Why don't we just put our resources together and find people who wish to share a room with someone so as to avoid the additional single supplement charges? We would then book our own airfare, but that can be cheap with Jets To Go, and other airlines.

I hate putting my hard earned dollars in someone else's pocket just to make a profit on me! Please get back to me by my personal profile. Thanks kindly.

You should look at the cruise information, these are not the "exact same thing".
Firstly the cabins you are looking at are the cat 1's one upper and one lower berth, not the regular 2 twin beded cabins, we have chosen not to offer these cat 1's.

Not included in the basic cruise are -
Solo group special features:
Champagne Catamaran sail, Snorkel and Beach Tour, St.Thomas to St.John, a premium tour
Daily POF/MMA activities and events program
Onboard****ail reception
MMA activity coordinators
Dance classes
On board group host
Taxes

The cheapest charter flight from Toronto to Ft. Lauderdale that will match this cruise schedule is with taxes $514 cad - we are offering Toronto departures for $431 usd including the port transfers.

You should note that Jets GO went bankrupt.

If you have any questions you should call us at 1-888-461-0231 x2216

when you say "based on double" does that mean two people combined would have to pay $1365 from toronto for a inside cabin or is it for per person in that cabin would have to pay $1365?

Well now, this tain't too pricy when it comes to an 8 day cruise. Fair deal, PoF. My thanks but sadly, I will be in the process of emptying my bank account to put new, energy efficient windows in my 1930's art deco home.

Anyone wish to fly to Fort Payne, AL (via Chattanooga, Atlanta, Huntsville, Birmingham or Nashville) and come help me during this time? I'll even come get y'all at those airports. Free room & board included, as long as you're a willing slave while installing windows.

Oh, and for the record... those cruises aren't the Love Boat... more like the Gravy Boat. Heavens! You'll never seen so much food in your life!!! I swear that the cabin steward would come in in the midst of my & stuff food down my throat.

But for those going, have fun and God speed.

-Andrew

P.S. Merry CHRISTmas, y'all.

I agree with Damadispuesta! This is to expensive. Ralph - the off shore excursion (catamarn and beach party) is like $67 on the web site for this cruise. The cost for upgrades (Via Vacations To Go) in cabins is only around $70 (you should try calling them if you don't believe us on the over pricing of this offer here on POF!). If you are ex-military, reserve or active, you could save an additional $150+ on some cruises if you qualify (contact the cruise line). As for the dance lessons and singles parties, the cruise line also offers these to ANY singles on the cruise, and they are FREE.
I hate to see anyone getting taken, so enjoy yourselves if you want to go on this, but don't complain to anyone if you find others enjoying basically the same package and $300 extra dollars in their pockets!

maybe then I could find me a sexy rich man to pay for the trip!

That sound you just heard was the women's movement going backwards about 15 years...

What's the old joke about the woman who was an animal lover?

She had a Jaguar in her driveway, minks and leopards she wore around her shoulders, and a jackass at work paying for it all?

well sounds to me like the more the merrier. Cruise parties are alot of fun except for when she gets drunk and naked in the bar and later i dissappear for good overboard. This is an expensive cruise from what i have seen and so far the booked males out number the females 3 to 1..... im gonna wait and see if that changes before i book. O and dont forget the life jacket. hahahahaha.....

Ok...so what is the ratio of women to men? I am seriously considering this as it's just the thing I've been thinking about the last couple of years.

Would love to go and sounds a blast....maybe meet a decent guy....sigh...

There seems to be a lot of people signed up that probably aren't going. I was wondering how many men are going between the ages of 40 to 55 years old. Is anyone from Victoria, BC?
