I am not interested. I have heard so many horror stories about bad things happening on cruiseships (fires, ships flipping to the side) and of people getting sick from a virus or ralphing on the ship after eating the food. Add in the fact that that people in Florida do not get any break on the price even though they can drive to Fort Lauderdale in a few hours. When I add in all these factors, it's just not worth the hassle for me.

Do you know if there is a price list without airfare? I live in S Florida. I haven't been able to call during business hours. Just wondering if you have any idea. Thanks!

I was looking for something to do around mid-Feb. It's this or a snowboarding trip to Banff.... tough call...I'll have to wait for the price quote for this trip before making my decision. Could be a lot of fun though...hmmmm

sorry ricardo, I just clicked on any old post reply and you happened to be for me to butt in.I am just wondering if someone could do an absolute breakdown on the prices and yes the other great question that a few have mentioned.....does that include the three friends you are going to bring or are those prices per person?? and who exactly is going to be bunking us up with the other same sex person??? is there security on this cruise?

Folks a word to the wise to those of you that are going on this cruise be sure to take out travel insurance. Last January the night before my cruise I was admitted to the hospital and did not get to go on my cruise. I did not take out the insurance. Thankfully the cruise line was compassionate and understood . They did not refund my money , but did offer a voucher for another cruise. The insurance is not much and worth it in the event something keeps you from going.

Wow this does sound like a fun time.
Would enjoy a cruise right about this time of year (Feb) in a little bit of sunshine.
I will think about this one real hard. Plenty of time to save up for it that is for sure.

This is a meet Market Adventures Cruise. It is very very Expensive comparatively. You need to know the exact cost for the cruise (including all taxes and gratuities) alone and without airfare for each of inside, ocean view, and balcony staterooms based on double occupancy, and then also what the singles supplement will be.

Everyone can get a better deal on their flights and any experienced traveller knows that to play with the flight dates by a few days eache way can save enough to pay a hotel on either side of the cruise for an extra few days of vacation. Most of us use airmiles, and by using priceline, travelocity, flightsentre etc, we can nail down almost illegal flight prices anyhow, so all inclusice is a dumb way to present a cruise.

What is the cost of the shore excursions, when they say all inclusive are they including the activities at each port of call? And not everyone on board can do the same thing at every port.

When they say all inclusive does this include Alcohol as well? All cruises I have been on charge for all drinks including if you crack the bottle of water in your room!

The holy Grail of singles cruises is singlescruise.com, anyone that has been on one of these cruises has made a lot of friends and will know there is a huge singles cruiser community.

There are websites for past cruisers to network on and to hook up on further cruises.

Cruising for love is also another singles cruise company that is up and coming that is offering a really good price on a 5 night Mardi Gras Cruise our of N'awlins that allows a few days in N.O. during mardi Gras which is an awesome opportunity.

You can find all of this information by doing a google search for singles cruises, but if people want more information about networking with other past present future cruisers or actual url addresses just contact me.

Bottom Line, Singles cruising is an absolutely awesome thing to do, ("instant friends, just add water") but there is now a lot of competition and dont be fooled, there are a lot of good prices.

Oh yea, remember, "What happens on the boat stays on the boat!"

I am going to add this one comment and then not come to this thread again just to present one thought.

My only experience with a cruise was when my band played one so my opinion is likely going to be different. It was THE WORST gig I ever had. We played 50 minute sets at 8pm, 10pm, 12am, 2am and 4am. And once you get out onto the ocean, if you think it sucks, oh well. You are on the ocean, and even in drydock what are you going to do, leave?

Just saying think about it being 8 days with no options. You can't exactly leave if you aren't having fun.

I think EastSideEddie hasn't cruised since the 70's. By the look of him, he has not changed his wardrobe since then either. I have been on many cruises and have never been so entertained. There is something every half hour and the ships are like floating cities. You would also be hard pressed to find better service as well.
