FYI from someone who has tried e-harmony, totally not worth it. They overcharge you and after spending nearly an hour filling out their profile you find that not one person in your area matches you. It isn't worth paying for when you get the same results here for free. LOL! At least, I do. :P | |

I am here to meet new people. All my friends are gone or married so i am just a single guy floating around :o)

Posted: 5/23/2005 12:55:47 PM | i really dont know what i am here to find,i believed for the last seven years that i had already found my soulmate, when we were together the feelings went deep never before had the ever been a single individual that i would do anything forwe had been through good times and bad and were still able to keep it together. then this last christmas after a tough year of working a full time job and going to college at night she kicked me out.and told me that i was just not spending enough time with her and college was here idea in the first place.
sorry dont mean wine just dont like being alone, and the funny thing is it has been 5 months, and i couldnt pick her out of a line up , but those feelings i cant seem to erase from my mind or memory.she messed up pretty bad. there at the end i had pretty much lost all self-respect and self-esteme,i have been picking up the pieces ever since.
why am i here? i want to believe in something again, i want believe that love is not a hoax,a figment of my imagination.all my life i have believed that love knows no bounds.....yet i am alone. | |

Ps im sure there more for you, as you sound like a scincere guy and im told that theres girls who actually like nice guys on POF...although my bad mates have all the luck, somthing to do with gift of the gab or right time right place or was that they are just more confident and ask more girls out so they have a higher strike rate.

I'm in custody battle right now because of it.
Anyway, I came here, on a random search for dating sites, and haven't even looked at another site since.
But since I've been here, I've met lots of great people, met them for coffee, some just on the phone, but all decent people.
Now, I'm looking for someone to remind me that not all women are deceitful, lol. I'm really just looking for friends with common interests, that's all. | |
