I know there are guys that love the thin, athletic, model type bodies and guys that love the thicker, voluptuous BBWs, but what about us average girls? The ones that could stand to lose 10 pounds, but are still in single digit sizes, just not negatives. Sure, I miss my 2s, but the odds of me getting back down that small at this point aren't all that great and the way I'm built, I'd have to really work to achieve BBW status. I get so frustrated with all the BBW and thin requests because I don't fit into either of those categories.  | |

According to Cotton Inc, the CDC, and major clothing manufacturers, the average size of a woman in the US is 16. I have yet to see a lack of men that will be with any given woman.
Thin men, like myself, have a very hard time finding a woman their size because they just aren't all over the place. Here is the funny part. I weigh 185 pounds and I am considered thin or slender.
It really doesn't matter what a man’s weight is, I guess. No one writes articles about the average size of men. There aren't very many thread topics covering this subject. I guess men are exempt from this? | |

For the most part, yes. Like it or not there is a double standard. A man can have a big gut hanging several inches over his jeans and love handles in the back and he is average. If woman can pinch an inch she is big or fat. I don't really care if a man has extra pounds if he is healthy and sweet. But for some reason, A LOT men judge a woman's worth by size first then age.
I am short and full figured. So I am not a BBW. I am a ShortBBW. If I put BBW on my profile they don't understand. They think I am 5'-8" or more and big. I just put a few extra pounds.
I have found though that if a man just gives me a chance past the first look we are good. And I wouldn't want to be with one who is so shallow as to only want me for my body anyway. I have a mind and a personality. | |
