Posted: 2/25/2006 2:40:01 AM | Ah, excellent question! since I work the night shift I have a while to think about these things... Ever since it happened, it put a smile on my face every day! Here it is...
About thee weeks ago, I worked a long day, tired and stuff I just wanted to cuddle with my bf. I took a VHS movie "Something's gotta give" and went to the bedroom after I asked him if he wanted to join me. He said he'll be up in a bit, so I went up and put the movie in after I changed. Within the first two minutes of the preview, the VRC ate the tape! I was pretty bummed since I really like the movie, and I usually download movies but this one I went out to buy!! So, I flipped through the channels waiting for my bf, and after about 1 hour, I gave up waiting, and tried to sleep. Ofcourse, me being me, I was getting pretty bummed and ticked off at him as I started collecting thoughts of what my bf was doing wrong. Finally after another hour he came upstairs, changed and tried to cuddle up to me, but I tensed up, and edged towards my edge of the bed. After asking what was wrong several times, my bf got a little irritated, so I COMPLETELY lashed out at him!! Oh I feel so horrible because I ended up sleeping alone that night and I was pretty upset. The last thing I said in my lash-out session was how "his stupid VCR ate my tape". The next day, he was at work, I had the day off, so I only say him around dinner time. I wasn't sure what his attitude would be, but he pulled me to the bedroom and kissed me and said he was very sorry and he would spend time with me when he said he would, and then of all the things I lashed out about, and he caught the corrupted tape bit, so he went out and actually bought the "Something's gotta give" on DVD!!! It was the sweetest thing ever, and it showed me that he cares about even the small things!!
I love him more and more every day, and this incident always makes me warm, fuzzy and put a stupid grin on my face. | |

Posted: 2/25/2006 6:58:36 PM | | A great day trip to the mountains around Asheville, North Carolina with monkeys in tow. No better road trip buddies in the world. We stopped at just about every bakery and restaurant between here and there. The fat kids inside us are much pleased. | |

Then I spruced up the ol' profile and threw in some humour.
Then I became a pain on the boards... and my popularity has kinda soared. I've been IMed by a lot of different people who are very interesting, witty, and fascinating!
One person in particular said that I was a 'superhero to womanhood'! I've never been referred as that before and it totally blew me away!
I think I ended up sharing it with someone and made them smile too! :D
So far, I would say this site is making me smile!
I LOVE ALL OF YOU!
(Except the freak who has nine toes... get away, freakshow.)
