I have caught myself imposing such and similar limits on myself before, and I'm trying hard to recognise and ignore such in the future. In past experiences, I've found many men (NOT all) are merely interested in having a tall woman as a teddy bear - fun to sleep with, but not so great to show off to their friends.

I'm six feet tall in my bare feet, and have mostly dated men shorter than myself. Not having spent a great deal of time in heels, I am quite clumsy in them. Being this tall also means I don't show up in most guys' searches on this site.
Rest assured TallnCurvy, there are many of us men more than willing to strap on our old disco platforms just to have the opportunity to take you out for a date ! I know I'm open to it.
I've always appreciated tall women for a variety of reasons, one being their ability to change the light bulb without me having to stand on a chair
