| Patchworking Posted: 4/16/2008 8:46:25 AM | Ah spring, you've awoken it Autumn! Getting ready, August weekend, am open to any one of them except the first weekend, which has a lifelong music festival commitment. I am a Blue Skies-er, so what weekends work for the poetfest after that?
here's a leftover from Lyrics.... bounced from Shadow Queen...
just wanted what i wanted, even when it wasn't there I waited through eternity and laid my soul bare I answered all the questions and signed the bottom line Hoping that this fantasy would some day be mine I read all the right publishings and followed all the news I sifted through the archetypes, unraveled all the clues I painted dreams in hologram and breathed my heart into the possibility that came when I fell in love with you

| Patchworking Posted: 4/16/2008 9:02:18 AM | i just had to say, Ravin.... that was a fanciful trip...thank you for writing it
i read it over about four times before i realized no one (until thorb..yay!!) resurrected the line it makes me happy to see it here in it's own divine right as it should be
|
| Patchworking Posted: 4/16/2008 9:17:35 AM | | I appreciate your lines ...and Thorbs to bounce off. It is nice to find inspiration to kick start a piece, and I do like the rythms that come out in the stanza threads. So when I see some of you playing there, it inspires me to join in. Thanks shadow... | |

| Patchworking from Old Souls Posted: 4/25/2008 8:54:34 PM | Dark clouds gather where Nostradamus principals spin the axis of time. There is no tomorrow here where nightmares co-exist in the power plays of the unfortunates, only fate spun out in yard-lengths of misery and hopelessness woven in shades of gray and gossamer. Fairytales told to us to keep us still and unknowing, distractions, distortions self medicated with shopping malls and fantasy we obey.
Armageddon, we await your rescue.
Purge us of persecution and prison cells and the bathroom stalls of factory lifetimes, save us from boredom and mediocrity show us that there is something bigger than they....are. Save us from what we have made of ourselves.
Implosion of ideals re-seeding the universe in the springtime of existence.

| Patchworking from last lines Posted: 5/5/2008 1:33:25 PM | THEY believe, I have been naive, somewhat... and in the grace of things to come, it may appear,I have overlooked some. From what I can perceive, my practice of non resistance has required such persistence. Granting reprieve for karmic lessons learned may have burned some bridges I can’t retrieve, but it was not unknowing or unaware, I just do not care about those things. I refuse to disbelieve that we all have a good soul within and were originally whole, without sin, although I have learned, some will deny it. I just don’t buy it. I know each one has within to know right and wrong and can choose which light they hold strong and this is a time of choice to make... you cannot fake goodness. They tell me I am too naive, but I perceive, for seven generations so damn the regulations, Roman laws and religious lies that tell otherwise. I do not have the will to deceive, or lay false pretenses and I will not sit on fences waiting any longer I am so much stronger now. Seven virtues danced as veils thin from Purple to Red, and back again God shines through as lifetimes flash on cue reminders, of what we can achieve. Which world shall I believe in? Laws of Caesar state entitlement and capital gains made and best left plans laid, “you gotta watch em! They’ll get you” “I’ll bet you!” Death and taxes, vengeance and retribution war as the solution divorce courts and desert sand Will we ever understand? Heart on sleeve I venture forth expecting honesty, integrity, and peace, protecting my naivety, I still believe we are part of this, altogether. I will hold this eagle feather and demand reality align to what is truly mine to hold. Let life unfold as it will be done on Earth. | |

Standing ground hear not a sound! Seems all is well in lifes desire! Getta grip and hold on... some want feathers others want guess! If not for them... would we be so strong? LOL ..like the storm before the LIGHTNING? I would rather meet em... after all the Storm has fallen They would be more real... much less sullen! lol...I like to picture the storm before the Thunder and Lightning! Why? cause I can read people better... they are more inclined not to lie and show nice behavior! But this is not life and we all know it... folks act up...and we still love em! Sometimes lessons learned are hard No matter who gets scarred I wonder when they end the suffer? Yet I see ...I ain't been there yet Life and love is a gamble... On a soul we simply found... and they found us! Throw your pebble in the stream dream a million days into the water hope that maybe , it will give someone some fuel to see...live and let live... Be! Thats all I can see, as far as this eye can be... Live and let live...just be! We all can't be the same fish in the pool... everyone has a story to tell... each has a sorrow that hurts like hell! Can't take that out on the next one... cause if we do..repeating of pattern... We need to have some discussion... Never be lonely ...lost in the light... Run in the darkness...lookin for light! I will be there...be there...for my friends... that is a given!

Telepathic awareness drifts through desert sands marking endless time in windpatterns. I saw you there, confident and feeling so good in your skin, were you waiting for me... in that place of no tomorrow? Earth and sky horizons meet and lightning fuses the rhythms into one. I watch you walk towards me recognition dawning stories emerging songs poetry awareness... were you waiting for me? There where condors seek answers from the sky and wolves gather to sing moonlight I saw you there waiting.

Paradise along the mountain pass Wild flowers covering the sparse terrain
In the shadow of the great protector The rugged daggers of stone
Sculpted into timeless warriors Beside the jutting land
The ocean of cool waters and plentiful salmon Starfish those tiny mysteries of nature
Blue, blue windows to the soul
May your trip guide you together To the pulse of discovery
Meeting old friends and family Sharing space with poets from The far reaches of our great country They are about to be known
As the weavers of life Spreading wisdom and insight greets them with a hug
On a bed of happiness The waters of love
And the guitar humming Over the rocky mountains.

| Patchworking from last lines Posted: 6/7/2008 5:32:37 PM | Sitting in the morning just waking up on my side of the world today I turn on the news see if anyone has anything good to say Stock markets falling and another landslide while the politicians try to deny Global warming and more killer storms and another thousand people die and the advertiser says I’d be happy if I bought bigger car you know I’ve got my sails out...and I’m waiting for the winds to blow I got my sails out...and I’m waiting for the winds to blow.
Sometimes I think the world’s gone mad and I can’t stand to hear the pain One place burning in holy fire and another in a deluge of rain Sometimes I think that hatred and war is the only way we know how to be And I want to sail away,..in a world made for you and me Sometimes I wonder at the pace of it all, where’s everybody trying to go I got my sails out...and I’m waiting for the winds to blow. I got my sails out...and I’m waiting for the winds to blow.
Why can’t we see the beauty of it all in the sun rising every day Life holding on to the sides of mountains and the waters rushing into the bay Why can’t we live as if nothing on earth mattered more that the love that we bring I want to sail away,.. and become part of everything Why can’t we care just a little bit more, maybe let a little kindness show I got my sails out...and I’m waiting for the winds to blow. I got my sails out...and I’m waiting for the winds to blow.

little child stands at the corner wanting just more for his mother askin' some for a dime or two while he has worn out every shoe barefoot and happy...in love with life Unaware of all the tragedy and strife He tries to see it from his point of view alone he tries to stand so tall He holds his head up high life has left him with nothin' but ... life One more corner, to end his strife Sad but sadder the reasons he is here to try to even up his families score Children want to live life too From within they all want new life and hope; bleed for existence Give them help without resistance!

Here, where sun sets whole horizons and soliloquy of mountain peak over ocean depths is where solace lies. Peace on white sands of ancient shell, where shoals of history are told in the timeless waves that gleam in sudden sunlight.... Fury Cove, Somebody’s got a sense of humour.
yup. Paradise you guys live in. Flew back to Van from Bella Coola this morning over mountains and valleys and snow capped peaks. wow.

What an amazing family! Hope you are all home and safely tucked into your beds. Thinking about how great it was to meet you and how happy I am you made the long drive up from Victoria.
Sailing - Christopher Cross
It's not far down to paradise At least it's not for me And if the wind is right you can sail away And find tranquility The canvas can do miracles Just you wait and see Believe me
It's not far to never never land No reason to pretend And if the wind is right you can find the joy Of innocence again The canvas can do miracles Just you wait and see Believe me
Sailing Takes me away To where I've always heard it could be Just a dream and the wind to carry me And soon I will be free
Fantasy It gets the best of me When I'm sailing All caught up in the reverie Every word is a symphony Won't you believe me
It's not far back to sanity At least it's not for me And when the wind is right you can sail away And find serenity The canvas can do miracles Just you wait and see Believe me
