| guys with lots of tattoos Posted: 2/19/2007 3:06:59 PM | i haven't read all the replys so if this has been said...apologies.
but, the ONLY difference between tattooed people and non-tattooed people is that the tattooed people don't care if you aren't tattooed.
i've got about a dozen or so -- but, none that are visible in my working clothes.
i want more. | |

| guys with lots of tattoos Posted: 2/19/2007 3:13:22 PM | | I love tattoos...they are simply an expression of who you are. They are art and are gorgeous. People that judge someone just becasue they have tattoos to me is the same as judging someone based on their colour, Not Fair and Not Right! | |

| guys with lots of tattoos Posted: 2/19/2007 3:39:19 PM |
so what do all you ladies think of guys who have lots of tattoos?
Just like everything else, it depends on the guy... Some guys don't look good with tats, some are supersexy, even if they're covered...
It also depends on the type of tattoo...if you have naked women all over your body, that could be hard to get past

| guys with lots of tattoos Posted: 2/19/2007 6:02:22 PM | I agree with dsbsnag, I have like a few big tats on my legs and arms and the only negitive comments I have ever gotten was from my mother and grandmother, but maybe its a male thing cause most of my uncles like them, but I have heard it is a sign of mental illness, but to me being a sheep is a sign of mental illness also. I don't hold it against people who can't brake out of the shackles of "society norms". I think if someone wants one they should get one. Kevin | |

| guys with lots of tattoos Posted: 2/22/2007 10:23:01 AM | I agree completely with Orangeflowers, I think tattoos are hot!, and I look at them as art.
People with tattoos look at their bodies as a canvas, and simply use it (their body) to express themselves with ink. It is almost like having lots of piercings (although you can take piercings out). I find tattoos interesting because a majority of people who have them also have a story to go along with each one.
I only have one but if I could get more, I definitely would :)

| guys with lots of tattoos Posted: 2/22/2007 10:58:44 AM | | I like tattoos, I have one. So it wouldn't bother me. But I think a guy would need to have a sexy-rough personality to pull them off. | |
|
| guys with lots of tattoos Posted: 3/3/2007 5:15:24 AM | I feeling getting a tatoo is an expression of one's personality. Most of the time, tat's are very hot!
As long as the tat's are down tastefully, society seems to be in acceptance of them. It's when one starts an imaginative form of self-expression that a person can encounter difficulty.
I have 4 tat's that are hidden unless I want them shown.

| guys with lots of tattoos Posted: 3/3/2007 5:59:42 AM | | Too many I find repulsive. I prefer the human body in its natural state. It's a work of art on its own why cover it up? :) | |
|
| guys with lots of tattoos Posted: 3/3/2007 8:13:09 AM | | i have tattoos and plan to get more. i know some people still dont get it but im not sweatin it. i dont do it cause i want people to like it, i do it for myself .if you do like it then thats even better. i think some people are just weak and scared of what others will think . not saying i dont love ya but that is what is not sexy or attractive to me , the weakness of spirit , the irrational fear of the unknown or misunderstood . i will eventually be almost fully covered with my own personal expression in ink.and if you dont like it or accept it thats your lost not mine. | |

| guys with lots of tattoos Posted: 3/3/2007 8:21:48 AM | It can be fun when you're trying to nap, his back is to you and you've run out of reading material....
Tats are fine....they don't change who the person is..... eventually though, the posters are right who say that tats don't age well....and the image if the Denny's waitress is now imbedded into my mind (at least for now).
|
| guys with lots of tattoos Posted: 3/5/2007 10:32:11 AM | | I dont think you have to have a sexy rough personality to pull off tattoos.. As many people have said before it is all about expression... | |
|
| guys with lots of tattoos Posted: 3/5/2007 11:09:46 AM | | I think 1 or 2 are fine. They look nice on a guys arm. Too many... not for me. I would send him for a HEP C test. I have so many patients that have multiple tatoos, that have Hep C from them. Most of them weren't done by professional places with the Osha standards these days. I guess I would wonder about someone who liked getting poked so much.... LOL | |
|
| guys with lots of tattoos Posted: 3/5/2007 2:40:14 PM | | I like them when they're original and tasteful. They seem to lose some of their appeal when one runs into another like too much graffiti on a building. The whole arm like a sleeve is too much. I saw a guy on the street today who had most of his face tattooed - I don't know - Halloween is only once a year; I wouldn't want to be "dressed" for it year round. | |

| guys with lots of tattoos Posted: 3/5/2007 5:20:43 PM | The Boss has amazingly beautiful work on his body. His pieces are soft and erotic on one side, hard and dark on the other. It wasn't his artwork that attracted me because it is really just a small part of who he is. His compassionate, funny, loving and caring personality was what sold me on him. Well that and he is really hot *wink*. Some men look good inked and some would look better without - it truly is just a small part of a much larger package.
i am covered in tattoos as you might be able to tell from the picture. The reality of it is that my body is not covered in tattoos but it is covered in art. The person who did them is an artist, someone who took my words and feelings and put them on my body for the world to see. My body shows a part of the journey i have lived.
And i am proud of every saggy, droopy, floppy bit of it!

| guys with lots of tattoos Posted: 3/6/2007 1:43:54 AM | I started collecting ink a few years ago... they say getting ink is addictive, and maybe so... too a degree. Me, personally, Im on a mission to have a set number, in predetermined places, kinda systematically. And all my tats, including the ones on my ankles, are easily covered. Most people have no idea I have any, even when I wear a tight teeshirt. I keep em hidden most of the time, but theyre there. Im pretty scarred, so I figgered i might as well have some, that are artistic and mean something. And theyre a lot easier to explain to kids (if i ever have one) than my stitched up hands and head. All my tats are of cartoon characters, but not your usual mickey mouse ones, and have serious philosophical meanings. I think its as many have said: depends on the tats, and the person wearing them. As for sagging... never. I will be in excellent shape til I die, even if Im 80. So I aint worried about that. In the end my ink makes a great qualifier, and weeds out certain types. If you cant handle my ink, and are too close minded (or if its just not your thing- one woman was stoked by my page but thought my ink, and my ponytail...meant that i couldnt fit into the conservative world, which is exacly the world i work in. Humpf). The only tats I plan on having that will NOT be easily covered, will be when Im married. I wanna get my wifes kiss mark tattooed on my neck, and her name in graffiti on my ring finger. Cuz to me, my ink is about one thing: Committment. 4 life. | |

| guys with lots of tattoos Posted: 3/8/2007 9:05:41 AM | | As long as they're not representing racial hatred then perfect...the more the better. Just started gets tats myself and I was hooked the second the needle hit my skin, I love getting tattooed! | |

| guys with lots of tattoos Posted: 3/25/2007 9:26:01 AM | Hrmmmmm, I have 15 bigger pieces and plan to be fully sleeved and have at least half of both legs done within the next 3 years. I also do tattoos and I have to say, I think that each person should follow their own path and do their own thing. I personally like all of my tattoos and piercings, and would never change for anyone. | |

| guys with lots of tattoos Posted: 3/25/2007 4:41:59 PM | Tat's n piercings cool as, and def sexy!! if people wanna express themselves in that way why should anyone else regard them as disgusting etc? its down to the individual and if thats how we wanna express ourselves fair comment after all the world is too full of clones who follow a set of predetemined ideals of what is acceptable n not personally i would be more disgusted at seeing the return of bubble perms n ra ra skirts but hey we all have our demons right but ink work is def big thumbs up!! | |

| guys with lots of tattoos Posted: 3/25/2007 5:44:18 PM | Depends. Depends on what they're depicting..some well placed tribals can look pretty wicked..whereas that 6" tall THUG or PLAYA might look a little tired later in life when the bearer is a middle-aged insurance salesman, or the BRAT is a soccermom with snot nosed brats of her own..ahem..and the gang scribble/white supremacist crap is never attractive..ahem.. Depends on where..what possesses people to get inked across their necks and/or face is beyond me. And for the love of {pick your Diety}, STOP getting your own name inked across your flesh..what the hell is that all about? A cheat sheet in case you forget? And if you're gonna get something permanently etched into your flesh, at least be original..who knows how many drunken asscheeks that drunken monkey is going to wind up on.
...but that's just my opinion, I could be wrong..it happened once.

| guys with lots of tattoos Posted: 3/25/2007 5:53:33 PM | I love I love I lovelove love my tats.. and Ima get some new ink really really SOON. Something..big. As as usual, meaningful. And cartoon. Time to feel the needle!
Im glad some people, especilay some of you women.. appreciate the ink, and I hope you understand when I say (as you all with ink will probably understand best)... whether you really like ink, specifically MY ink, or not... I really dont care. -think about that fully...and from EVERY angle-

| guys with lots of tattoos Posted: 3/25/2007 6:04:34 PM | | i can appreciate a few well-done tattoos. i only have one ~ a small kokopelli on my lower right abdomen ~ and it hurt like hell. but i do like looking at them and i can understand the addiction. if i didn't mind pain so much, i'd have more myself. | |
