| | long nails....turn on?Page 3 of 7 (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) | Dirty nails are gross. But of course it would depend on what type of job he had to how clean he could get his fingernails. Unkept dirty nails usually mean unkept dirty other parts. I usually keep my nails long, once in awhile i will cut them short and regrow them. But i feel naked without long nails. | |

| long nails....turn on? Posted: 3/4/2007 8:35:34 AM | I think long nails are yummy as f.ck especially if they are well kept. Nothing like running them down a mans backor over his check during a hot heated session! | |

| long nails....turn on? Posted: 3/5/2007 7:26:49 PM | | Absolutely 100% a total visual turn-on! It also tells me that the woman is taking care of herself. They don't have to be really long, just longer is fine, but painted, or French manicured! Big turn-on for me! | |

| long nails....turn on? Posted: 3/6/2007 12:10:18 AM | Answer to your question...I have long naturel nails..And I wipe my butt just like every other person in the world with tolet paper....lol lol...
I do gardening, cooking, all house work, the nails are atractive to me and do not get in the way with any thing I do.. I keep them painted and always clean under them..

| long nails....turn on? Posted: 3/7/2007 6:29:44 PM | I have to agree with lyrical girl
Real nails are fine and a turn on, but those Press-ons not at all. Cheap and tacky. Manicured nails are definitely elegant, and very, very sexy. Tells me she takes pride in herself, takes the time to clean herself. If I was spending a night with a woman and she had dirty nails on a first date. I wouldn't be getting very intimate. Wouldn't be asking for a second date.
I know a few women, who take care of their nails clean, file, shape them and even with a little polish just for a little color (not red) is an absolute turn on. Not to long though.
Dirt under the nails disgusting. - Especially women. Unless they are gardening or their jobs require them to have dirty hands. That's understandable. But clean them before the date.
Frankly I don't know why a guy wouldn't clean his nails, especially if he is planning on a night of romance and sex. Why would any woman want a man with oil, dirt, and grease under his nails, touch her intimate and private areas while in the throws of passion. Sweat, body fluids plus grime. Sounds disgusting to me.
As a matter of fact the same goes for the toe nails as well. Keep them clean, who wants to give a toe job to someone with dirty stinky toes/feet.
I think it's so hot that, I will even pay for her manicure and pedicure, if she keeps them up. Besides it accentuates the hand or the foot.

| long nails....turn on? Posted: 3/22/2007 12:19:45 AM | Hm.
You should see the scratch marks I had from my ex last year due to her long nails. She was a scratcher, and really long, sharp nails didn't go well with her.
It didn't mesh real well with my back either. Heh.

| long nails....turn on? Posted: 3/22/2007 12:30:03 AM | Well manicured hands with natural nails, just a little longer than the finger. Long enough to look hot, short enough to leave marks and not fall off! LoL!

| long nails....turn on? Posted: 9/29/2007 4:34:35 AM | Long nails... YES and YES
To me there is nothing more attractive and lady-like then a woman having long nails
I am not much for being scratched during anything but if she knows how to use them right, nothing can turn me on faster than being touched by long nails.
So far I have not come across any woman that has had too long of nails.
White tipped or bright red, I will find you first in a room.
My biggest problem is finding a girl that has them, any takers.

| long nails....turn on? Posted: 9/29/2007 3:27:48 PM | Nail....arent there for the men.....
They aren't there for other females either. Being that I have approximately 1/2 inch nails from tip to nail bed, they are purely for when I have an itch. Does this make me a "girly girl"....hardly....I can burp the alphabet and belch over a live band.....

| long nails....turn on? Posted: 9/29/2007 3:38:15 PM | | Because I have always had very, very thin and soft nails, I finally took the step a month ago to get white tips put on. They are so natural-looking, you would never, ever be able to tell. They're a normal length. I can't have them long because I just use my hands too much. I have clear polish over the acrylic, and I've gotten many compliments. They're not "paste-ons", by any means, as my own nails are growing to that length now, and I will just be getting overlays once they're long enough. Trust me - I was never into getting anything like this done, as I've always been into the natural thing. | |

| long nails....turn on? Posted: 12/18/2007 9:22:17 AM | Men: always must keep their nails short and clean. End of story.
Women: Fake long nails. Never! However a woman with real long nails, absolutely wonderful! To me it tells me that here is a woman who loves and enjoys to be a woman. And there is nothing more attractive than that.

| long nails....turn on? Posted: 12/18/2007 9:54:23 AM | | As long as they're real they are great. Long or near the finger tips is nice, but anything fake? NO WAY!! I so hate fake nails, they always just look so unnatural. Keep it real ladies. | |
|
| long nails....turn on? Posted: 12/18/2007 12:54:12 PM | Big turn on. The longer the sexier as long as the lady is able to reasonably function, though obviously if they're way out there and starting to curl that's too much. I like to see the solid colors (except black) without designs on them. Anyhow, this is another of those things that is so wonderfully feminine and appealing. I find myself complimenting women (like supermarket checkers) quite often on their nails. All this said, if a woman isn't into nails it's no big deal to me.
Not sure what is so horrible about fake nails as so many on this thread have written, but whatever.

| long nails....turn on? Posted: 12/18/2007 4:11:55 PM | I like clean, buffed nails on a man. Dirty nails are a turnoff, yes.
I have long, manicured nails. French or deep wine reds.

| long nails....turn on? Posted: 12/18/2007 4:22:54 PM | I like short natural ,or clear gloss nails and that's it. Painted claws are a big turn off to me. When I see a woman with long nails I get this impulse to go find the nail clippers. | |
|
| long nails....turn on? Posted: 12/18/2007 4:25:01 PM | | Regular nails are ok but I once saw a woman who had these fingernails over 2 feet long and when they grow that long they are not straight in fact they are very gross to look at seeing her hands together sounded like two bucks in the heat of battle. To me fingernails are not a turn on. | |

| long nails....turn on? Posted: 12/19/2007 8:23:39 AM | Often my eyes are drawn to a woman's hands, not sure why, but I love a pretty pair of hands. Nicely manicured nails are a treat but like others have said, anything too long or over done begins to look gaudy. I also prefer more natural colors though soft shades of red or pink are nice too.
At the other end, I couldn’t care less about her feet.

| long nails....turn on? Posted: 12/19/2007 9:23:42 AM | The flip side of this coin, is manicured and polished nails on a man. My (currently) glittery purple acrylic manicure inspires constant compliments from young women. Unfortunately, most of them are too young for me, but that is another story.
To curtail breakage problems, I have to keep my nails at moderate length, though not too short for playful scratching.
Women seem to be turned on by my colorful manicure styles, so I have them professionally maintained, every week, at a nail shop.
Bottom line:
For both men and women, attention to details of grooming and style, catches the attention of the opposite sex.
