Pot stays in your hair for quite a long time, there's absolutely no way to get rid of it
Amen to that.
I bought a bottle of Pot Shampoo a week ago. I've rinsed and rinsed, and I am still combing out the damn leaves out of my hair!!
Next time, I'll wash with Pantene Heroin.

There's a product called "minuteman handwarmer" where you basically make synthetic pee for the cup, with proper temperature and all. As long as they don't actually watch you pee (which will be pretty much just military, POs, high security jobs, etc) it's foolproof. You can be pissing rocks of crack like they're kidney stones and still pass, since your own personal pee never touches the cup. Always struck me as a bit unfair though, do some coke and heroin on friday and pass your test on monday, smoke pot a month ago and fail. I failed after 3 months being clean one time, though I have a slow metabolism. | |

Posted: 9/21/2008 5:05:40 PM | Hi folks--ways to fool a drug test, hmmmmm? There are things you can try but they're expensive and their effectiveness is "iffy" to say the least. As to why a test result that comes back as "dilute" is a fail--well, the only reason for most people to have a test that is so dilute that is shows on the test if that, well, they' ve been drinking extremely large amounts of water/juice/etc. in an attempt to not test positive when they have been using. A lot of places still use urine tests, but they can be very comprehensive; the hair test is expensive but goes back quite a while. My information source--my workplace where we conduct alcohol and substance abuse groups and drug court LOL
Not using is a lot cheaper and easier than trying to figure out how to fool a test--you might want to give it a try someday!   | |

Take the pot test after you recover from the coma, you will have been pot-free for a month by then. | |

No offense, I'm just curious. Would you want your daughter on a couple hour flight with a airline pilot who gets high, who may have smoked that morning? Or how about she or your son catches a cab with a stoned cab driver? Still okay with legalizing it, hon?
That you say that there are no negative side effects of any kind to speak of tells me that you haven't done your research. And if you've never been stoned than you obviously don't know how it impacts your physical senses and mental acuity. | |

Reseach into the cannabis plant has found a anti-psychotic in the plant 50% to 50% THC,
now being removed to help psychotic persons. The problem is the drug laws have made people care more abount the THC levels and some degrade the anti-psychotic drug.

I'm going to play a game with you. Let's say that booze is just as equally destructive as pot and that's a proven fact.
So is your solution to make another destructive object legal so even more destructive nature can occur?
Instead of trying to play the game of "well if this is legal, then this should be too because both are terrible for you" you should try to get something you believe to be equally as destructive (or at least destructive enough to be banned) taken out of the picture.
It's like trying to stop 2 people fighting by launching a war on both of them. Way to fuel the fire. | |

My personal belief is that pot, like booze, are both capable of being used in moderation. Having a joint after work should carry no worse of a stigma than having a beer.
It's the ABUSE of both that causes problems. We deal with alcoholism with education... we deal with pot addiction by hoping it'll go away. That doesn't seem right, either. | |

Umm, well..as far as I'm concerned, as long as you don't harm anyone else by driving under the influence of a mind altering chemical/substance of any kind, and you don't break the law by attempting to endanger/destroy yourself, I'm cool.

Great for psychotics with a Rx for pot then, eh? Until this happens, it's illegal. And yes, there are side effects that aren't beneficial, just like with most substances.

Posted: 5/21/2009 7:18:16 AM | Actually, my position is that pot should be a LEGAL intoxicant - just like alcohol is. As I pointed out in a prior post - Prohibition was tried and failed. Education to prevent abuse, and peer-group assistance for abusers, would be a more rational way to go.
I don't drink or drug either... NOW. I dabbled in my youth, and learned from my mistakes. But at the same time, I don't want to impose MY values on anyone else... I find that to be as repulsive as getting high. | |
